JRP Stock/Super Stock Combo Race 1 - May 12, 2024

Race 1 of the JRP Stock/Super Stock Combo Series at Milan Dragway (Milan, MI). There were 19 cars. Ladder was based on best reaction time after 2 rounds of qualifying. Randy Running was the number one qualifier with a .005 reaction time. Rob Holmes of Dayton, Ohio with his J/SA Firebird was the winner. I was the runner up in my FGT/H Mustang. I apologize for the lack of ETs. I was lucky to get the ladder and qualifying sheet. By the time I realized that we did not get the round by round summary, our contact at the track had left. Rounds 2 thru 5 were captured with a cell phone. Not ideal. I have a new Sony camcorder with a nice zoom, but my friend who normally records me could not attend. Up until now my friend has been using a GoPro to record the cars going down the track. But a GoPro does not have a zoom feature. So hopefully when my friend gets used to my new Sony camcorder, he will be able to zoom the scoreboards and improve the quality of the videos.
