Is a firecuda 530 good? I've heard one guy get upset because instead of giving him a new replacement he got a refurbished one so maybe alot of companies just suck lol
LOL yeah you need to read the fine print. They all have some form of fine print that makes you go crazy. So I making a further review on the firecuda as I picked it up to test. Good drive overall. This is my initial thoughts: ua-cam.com/video/hDKOZ4tJO2A/v-deo.html
yeah, and if you reach out to them they will say there is nothing wrong with it bro. I would be looking at using it as a windows drive and that is all. Pick up a better drive if you need big transfers.
This comment definitely helped me :) I was not aware that they (hopefully) fixed the reported issues. All the reviews I can find are months old, so they are not that reliable anymore. I'm mainly interested in the 4 TB version. It's the only 4 TB Gen 4 SSD on the market.
Considering getting a 4tb Seagate NVME instead now because of all these reviews on the Sabrent one. Edit: I would get a WD black in a heart beat but they don't make 4tb NVMEs for gen 4. Only Sabrent and Seagate.
What has been your experience with the drive? Similar? Different? Lucky I went for a samsung 980 pro. Thanks.
It's a great drive. I compare it. I did stick to the SN850 but it was close second. I have a video on it. ua-cam.com/video/jXqRCKkmx04/v-deo.html
@@NikosRentas damn and I was going to return my SN850 for this as its 4TB versus 2TB

Experiencing the same issue on the Sabrent Rocket 4 (non plus) and there is no firmware fix available that I can see.

Sabrent released the firmware fix for your issue a few days ago. They work excellent now and are the best consumer NVMe SSDs available today!
Thanks Chris. Hopefully this comment helps someone who reads this. I will ask a few people I know to test it as I don't have it anymore.

I sent you a message yesterday morning on LinkedIn. Please get back to me so I can help with the issues.
Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it. I will log in and reply.
Only got 4554 mb/s
at 4 mins in you still don't say what the problem is!
Yeah right at 4 minutes I did lol. I will keep this in mind for future videos.
Couldn’t get through all of this because this is just how MLC drives work. They all slow down for a little while after their cache fills.
I was going to put it in my second m.2 slot after the rma was complete but now I'm just gonna sell it. I'll take this L
Good call.
