These concepts are not *difficult* but the way they're presented to us at school or even in a textbook kind of puts us in a rush where we almost feel like we HAVE to _get it_ *RIGHT NOW* or else we will be left behind, and it never helps if the teacher talks in a voice that is difficult to understand.
I think the reason we are actually, truly *getting it* right now is because we are in a state of peace and because he is talking in a clear voice like if he was sitting right in front of us and talking to you and you alone instead of to 30 different people.
Still, there just something about this guy in particular where he truly knows how to do his part in teaching us. There are others on YT that will try to teach us the same material while emulating the same feeling, but this guy just achieved a perfect state where he can break down, communicate, and illustrate the material for us with no problem.

I've been through 25 videos on how to do matrixes and they all were gibberish! One even folded about their dog! You make things so simple! Before the video I was reading the description after the 25 tutorials and when it said 'basic' I nearly fainted, but after the video I now understand that matrixes are kind of like number and letter graphs where the row goes first and then the column. You are single handedly getting me through studying 3 shity tests the hardest one including martices.

Great explanation. I'd already looked at identity matrices before, but didn't understand. Actually trying to understand eigenvectors and eigenvalues, but had to return to basics.

yeah, apparently with the eigenvectors and eigenvalues, you have to see whether a particular matrix is invertable (is that the right word?) i.e. does it have an inverse. To do this we must be able to compute the determinant of the matrix. and then we are into all sort of specific cases. Lot's of fun as we look at all the cases. But at least AI = A holds true where A is the matrix and I is the identity matrix hahaha
