Great video! Very helpful! Do you mind saying what brand it is? I just bought a Vevor 5 in 1 swing-a-way 15 x 15. It came today and is still in the box. I just had eye surgery and can't lift for a while, so I'm trying to learn this way in the meantime.

the top plate of my heat press does not go all the way down to the bottom plate, it is not the pressure that needs adjusting. It is just too high. what is the fix? what is the knob on the back of the machine for. Somehow my top plate got too high (my son used it) and Icant figure out how to adjust it back down

    • @simplyshy

Hey Susan, most likely the handle is bent after so much use and pressure the handle bends and doesn’t allow it to close down all the way.

I had a similar press in the beginning, but the 8 in 1 one. Unfortunately the built quality was really shitty. Idk for sure, but I'm thinking this one will exhibit the same problems one day. The first problem was the closing latch. the nits it's connected with broke after around a year of use. after 2 years the base broke. It definitely started deforming way before that, but the design makes it hard to see. The whole base metal was deformed., bushing the metal rod back away from the plate. Also another thing is - this one requires more grease in my experience and it ended up on the clothes more than once... I never got to use the rest of the attachments, because I couldn't get the main one to detach.
I currently have a clamshell and the built quality is waay better. The way it's built also makes it impossible to deform like this one.
