Linda Bridgman, beloved mother of Amelie and Annabelle, and the cherished partner Daniel Montambault, passed away on June 27th, 2023. She was a radiant presence in our lives, and her departure leaves a void that can never be filled. Our memory of Linda will forever remain etched in our hearts as we remember her with profound love and admiration.
Born on March 17th, 1980, Linda’s life was a testament to resilience, kindness, and unwavering determination. She possessed a vibrant spirit of adventure and community that touched the lives of all those fortunate enough to know her. Linda was everyone’s favourite; she had a warm, kind smile that could light up any room, and her compassionate nature endeared her to everyone she met.
Linda’s greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two beautiful daughters, Amelie and Annabelle. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, and her love for them knew no bounds. Linda’s nurturing spirit, wisdom, and unwavering support will forever shape the lives of her daughters. She also shared a deep and beautiful connection with her soulmate and best friend, Daniel, and together they embraced life’s adventures.
Linda set the bar high in every area of her life, whether it was as a friend, sibling, daughter, mother, partner, or coworker. She worked hard and was 100% committed to everything she did. Linda’s encouragement, inclusivity, and ability to make everyone feel heard and special were qualities that made her shine. Her presence at camping trips and family gatherings brought joy and laughter, and her absence will be keenly felt by her mother, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and all who held her dear.
In remembrance of Linda, let us strive to live our lives with the same passion, kindness, and heart-centred focus on adventure that she embodied. May we honour her memory by seeking laughter, embracing new experiences, and approaching each day with an open heart and a spirit of kindness.
A Celebration of Life to honour Linda will be held in Courtenay, on July 15th. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Go Fund Me Account to support Daniel and the girls as they grieve her loss.
