My skin has gotten drier as I've aged so I am looking for a new, non-matte foundation. This looks like it would be a great foundation to try. Thank you for reviewing it😊
I'm so surprised about people still defining cosmetics as "drugstore" brands. I would think that we're far more saavy consumers about makeup. The a lot of the so-called high-end brands that folks drop $30, $40 & more for and not bat an eye lash aren't usually worth the price. Like you're paying for the brand name and fancy packaging. There isn't much difference between the product ingredients and their efficacy. Hell, L'oreal is a drugstore brand yet they OWN Lancome, It Cosmetics, etc. and side by side wear test comparisons on their products are exactly the same.
Gonna have to disagree with you on this. The more expensive brands at Sephora have better tuned undertones and shade ranges, more formula variety, and imo (ymmv) perform better over a longer period.
@mithrandirstormcrow4952 In spite of what you say about the more expensive brands being better products, and maybe they are, but the drugstore brands have greatly improved over the past few years. I'm not going to pay $50 or $60 for foundation, then $30 for mascara, and all the other expensive products when the less expensive ones are perfectly acceptable. Some foundations are even close to $100. That's ridiculous. The various folks in Middle Earth will have to cope with my less expensive look.
I bought this pre-order several weeks ago on amazon and it was $12 bucks then but the price shot up as soon as people started buying it. It's pretty light coverage and not buildable... I had trouble with this breaking down pretty fast and it did cling to a couple of dry patches I have from retinol use. I didnt like that it stayed pretty wet and moved around a lot. So far I'm unimpressed but I'm going to keep trying. I'll try using my fingers to blend it next time.
I just wanted to post an update... I used my fingers and it blended much better. You really have to be careful with this foundation and the amount you use. Less is more. I also set it with a different powder and it lasted a but longer. I'm intrigued for now.
I have been learning that one of the reasons skin is oily is because it is dehydrated. I've noticed hydrating foundations wear better on my oily skin as well. I'm going to give it a try!
Didn’t Revlon file for bankruptcy? Yet they’re still releasing new products with ridiculous prices? Why are you still pulling this nonsense, Revlon?? Rant over-anyway, great review! 😘
I am trying this foundation out and I agree about looking less oily! I have very oily skin and I found even with the oil coming through it seemed like I blotted less and found my skin looking more radiant dewy than an oil slick disaster lol. I'm going to continue to keep trying it out, but so far I am loving this foundation!
I did really enjoy this foundation and found it was drier by the end of the day. I’m not sure how they did that but it wasn’t bad especially since I typically have dry skin and I’m in my mid 40’s. I like how smooth it made my skin look as well as skin-like. It didn’t look too heavy and it blended into my skin nicely. I found it on Walmart’s website for about $13 and change as I was not going to pay $18 for a drugstore foundation! I’ll say though I’d consider this a beautiful everyday foundation for me which says a lot considering I’ve never had any Revlon foundations work for my skin. Id say it’s a big improvement! 👍🏻
This is the first revlon that has worked for my skin also. I love this. I have acne scars and I have texture this covers avd smòths hides texture abd scars better than any foundation I have ever ever tried.
Looks like they are trying to dupe the new lancome skin caring foundation, which I have and really like, although it is not glowy on me at all. Not sure if the revlon would have enough coverage for me. But it looks very nice on you and thank you for reviewing it.
It looks really nice on you. Buuuut $18!!!! What are they thinking? I just can’t mentally wrap my mind around that, especially, when wet n wild and Maybelline have luminous foundations that are fantastic for a fraction of that cost. 🤷🏼♀️
It looks like you’re wearing highlighter all over your face. It’s quite shiny to me. I’m an older person who’s looking for a skin care foundation but I’m afraid it would just highlight everything.
This foundation is absolutely beautiful on mature skin. It’s not shiny at all, just gives a gorgeous glow. I have very mature skin & can’t stop using this, it’s lovely…🌸
If I'm gonna be paying that price I'll stick with my urban decay hydromaniac. I'm not paying more the 13bucks for drug store and even that's pushing it.
In the USA, you can still keep a business running and go bankrupt. Former president Trump has done this quite often. There are multiple ways this can be done, but it depends on the judge deciding the case, creditors, and how they filed bankruptcy as there are multiple types. I hope this helps!
That's still 1/2 or less of many others - MAC, MUFE, Haus Labs, Nars, Charlotte Tilbury, etc. And every bit as good. I'm sorry to tell you about these 2 problems called TIME and INFLATION. Time goes on, and prices go up. I would expect that Revlon's cost for Research and Development has gone up as well. 🤷
Drugstore foundation has gotten so good, it has nothing to envy high end foundation so if they up their game, the price also goes steeper. Technology and formulations cost time and money and if I heard right: Revlon filed for bankruptcy

Thank you for commenting that there is not a smell. Smell has always kept me away from drugstore brands. I’m going to pick this up.

Maybe instead of drugstore, they could call them cheaper brands?
Maybe because they are drugstore cosmetics?
I didn’t know L’Oreal owned IT cosmetics!!!

Thank you for sharing!
Its still cheaper at Walmart at least
Did you ever try the Milani dewy tinted moisturizer? I have similar skin type you do.
I love Revlon lipsticks, for me, they are as good as any high end. I have been wearing the colour Run Raising for about 30 years

The foundation looks fantastic. I think I need to try this one!
The foundation looks really natural on you
Thank you! This is a thorough review.
I bought my in shade 209 yesterday so far I like it and it do darken as it set. It performs well on my 10 hours day.
Hi. Please mention your lipstick
I ordered it from Walmart for 13
Looks beautiful on you!! $18??? Wow drugstore smh
I tried it, and it was streaking off after 2 hours. I have combination skin, I was very disappointed. I will be using my usual Milani foundation.
Milani foundation looks horrible on my skin. I'm alot older than you.
Can you plse update after 1 month re skin improvements!!
Do you l know your MAC foundation shade? Or can you tell me what shades you are in popular foundations?
Does it work without any product on your face prior?
Didn’t Revlon file for bankruptcy? Yet they’re still releasing new products with ridiculous prices? Why are you still pulling this nonsense, Revlon?? Rant over-anyway, great review! 😘
They shouldn’t be releasing new products. They should bring back the Colorstay Whipped!

Just ordered from Ulta!! Super excited to try it out :)
The question is will the uk ever get this. We rarely get the new stuff like from loreal
I love this foundation! ❤️ And it looks so beautiful on your lovely skin! 😍

What sunscreen did you wear underneath the foundation?
It looks really nice on you.

Uuhhh haven’t heard the foundation yet but now I’m quite interested in trying it. Thank you for the awesome review 🎉
Newly subscribed. Loved the foundation review!

Do you people who don’t like this one, like the True Match or the balm????
Wow this looked perfect on you! I loved the review!
Looks amazing!!
Which would you recommend with more yellow in the foundation? thanks
I'm glad it's not scented. I just have not tried it yet
best review of all !!! Thank you!
I ordered the same shade #209 We have very similar skin tone, but my undertone is a tad neutral so I hope this color is a good match.
Any scent in this foundation?
Walmart $13
You nailed the your lips but better shade on day one. What was it?
Isn't Revlon bankrupt how can they afford to launch new products?

You never have to pay full price for foundations at a drug store. Between sales and coupons it's a fraction of the price.
