One book that has given me a really different view towards Islam is 'Road to Mecca' by Muhammad Asad. Being someone who has been blessed to be born in a Muslim household makes it quite difficult to really appreciate how much Islam comforts the heart of someone who had been deprived of spirituality for all their life. Reading the book I realised that Muhammad Asad was really impressed by how Islam had shaped a community that valued things like spirituality, character and warmth over materialistic things. This was during the post world war times when the western world was lost all hopes in goodness and was moving into atheism and agnosticism. I recommend everyone including new Muslims and others who were born Muslims and even non Muslims to read this book. Insha Allah your vision towards life before and after reading the book would be really different.
I always always always love the Majestic Quran by Musharraf Hussain. I got three versions of it - Uthmani script with English, another Arabic script that I can’t remember the name of right now with English (both of these books are hardbacks but can probably be found in softback?) And finally a softback purely-English version to take a lot of notes on.
Thank you for the Gift of your suggestions. As a revert I have found the Translation of the Quran by the late Yusuf Ali to be the one that I am committing to memory. I have also found the BAYYINAH Institute to be an excellent resource for Quranic Study under Ustadt Nouman Ali Khan. May Allah grant you ease.😊😊😊

What Muslim woman need to learn after Tauhid is ''Al-Haya''' or modesty. In the authentic hadith it said that Al-Haya' is part of iman. Wearing full hijab with niqab is not enough if you don't have Al-Haya'. That's why there are Muslim women who show themselves to the public, often using social media even though they are wearing full hijab. The purpose of wearing hijab is to cover. But if you use social media then you have uncovered yourselves. Is that you on the the profile picture? What is the point of showing your picture to the social media? There is absolutely no need for you show yourself, and don't worry, da'wah to the public is the responsibility for Muslim men, women should just stay at home not using social media.
Follow Sunnah and read Quran because Quran is authentic book and can never be changed liked any other book . Because Allah says that he protect Quran....
Show me in the Quran where Allah says to follow the Sunnah of the prophet ? Or Hadith of the prophet. Please read Quran. Allah says for guidance 1 book =Sunnah of Allah= Hadith of Allah. Not Hadiths of the prophet Mohammed. I love ❤️ the prophet Mohammed but Allah does not ask us to follow the prophet Hadiths books. The prophet never approved his book that a liar Buhary wrote. hear say-hear say. please follow Only Quran
The hadith are preserved by the same people who preserved the quran people like abu bakr the companions of the prophet if you don't trust them then you don't trust the perversion of the quran
