Dear Robbie; as a retired Speech/Language Pathologist, I can tell you that I am appalled that people feel like they have the right to correct the speech or language of an adult. When I was working, I stressed that my student's message was so much more important than how they said it. One cannot foster changes if not done so with respect and kindness. You are doing just fine; you have no need to apologize for anything.
Robbie, you are perfect just the way you are. When people feel the need to be rude, or give unnecessary and unsolicited grammar corrections just remember that’s a reflection on their need to feel superior which is most likely a reflection of their insecurities and unhappiness. When I get comments like that I always quietly give myself positive affirmation to remind myself that their comments come from a place of insecurity. “I’m thankful that I am kind. I’m thankful that my time is being spent on creating a more beautiful world. I’m thankful my comments lift others up.” You and your gardens are amazing.

Dear Robbie; as a retired Speech/Language Pathologist, I can tell you that I am appalled that people feel like they have the right to correct the speech or language of an adult. When I was working, I stressed that my student's message was so much more important than how they said it. One cannot foster changes if not done so with respect and kindness. You are doing just fine; you have no need to apologize for anything.
Robbie, you are perfect just the way you are. When people feel the need to be rude, or give unnecessary and unsolicited grammar corrections just remember that’s a reflection on their need to feel superior which is most likely a reflection of their insecurities and unhappiness. When I get comments like that I always quietly give myself positive affirmation to remind myself that their comments come from a place of insecurity. “I’m thankful that I am kind. I’m thankful that my time is being spent on creating a more beautiful world. I’m thankful my comments lift others up.” You and your gardens are amazing.

Oh my god! I’m not one to usually comment but this bothered me so bad. Listen, you are a gem, a bright light. Please don’t let others - who are obviously jealous of you in some regard - dim that light. I know it’s difficult not to let it get to you, believe me, and it’s got to be even more difficult on social media but scroll past them or better yet, have someone do it for you. Maybe have a friend start to read them and pick questions for you to answer. They can then block the rude, clueless commenter from your channel.
