Just picked one of these up for my first sewing machine, and I couldn't be more grateful for the time and effort you've put in to sharing this knowledge! Thank you so much!
Thank you Robyn so so so much for these old Bernina videos! I commented on the previous video that I have a Record 850 and I just got my gorgeous old Bernina 727 down off the shelf. They are both beautiful beautiful machines. I really love the old 727 and it sews immaculately. Thanks again Robyn from Noni down under. 👏🏼 Edit..the beautiful sound of the old Berninas! 😍
I've still got my record 930 with all and extra feet, had it 40 loyal to me years. I've had to buy another (Juki) machine because my old eyes can't thread my Bernina any more. Oiled and dusted on a shelf is it worth anything or do I hope that I manage a few more years until my great granddaughter might like to be taught - she's 1 1/2 years old!!
Robyn, fabulous instructional videos - thanks! The third knob down (the stitch length knob) - I see you turning the knob. I push mine up and down - what does turning the knob do? (I have a 730 Record, but can translate your instructions to my machine.)
@@DarleneGrant-m5x Sorry I have just seen your message. Take the bobbin case and hook out. If it can't turn the balance wheel, then it would need to go to a technician.
I have had this machine for 50 years and only just learned from you what the knee thing is for! Am going to try it now. Thank you. Yes it works 🎉!

Really great video thank you. Glad to hear you are doing some on the uses of the different feet
Thank you Robyn! I'm trying to find why my record has started knocking, will try to change the speed as I see some day that could be the problem.

@@M.R-g3b It changes the stitch length.
I must have missed something because I am looking at how to adjust the upper thread tension and haven't found it.
Do you know why my wheel is not cominicating with my needle. For some reason I can’t move the wheel.
