- [KiniNews] Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has dismissed claims that he is subservient to DAP.
"There are allegations that we are subservient, because of support from 'Chinese-based party' DAP which is domineering."
"I am the PM, I am no one's puppet. Thank God, I am almost 76, and I can't be bought with money. If I could be bought I would have been swayed long ago," he said at a forum in Putrajaya today.
This came after Dr Mahathir Mohamad claimed that the government was beholden to the DAP because of the party's numbers in Parliament.
Meanwhile, in a separate story DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has dismissed Mahathir's latest allegation that DAP was using its political influence to pressure current Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to follow their agenda.
Loke said the allegations were baseless and stressed that all DAP MPs respect the Federal Constitution, including the position of Islam as the federation's official religion.

Im digusted at myself for looking at Dr.M soo high all this years, from my chillhood, without knowing his true agenda (he was just looking after only one race so that he can always keep his seat as a PM, keep other races in the dark all the time n throw some bones to us when we bark, to shut us down temporarily). I thought he was building a great and advancing multiracial country where my fellow malay, chinese brothers n sisters n also my people can really live in equality, peace n harmony, be proud of it in the eyes of the world. But instead after all this years out of desperation for power he lets out his true intentions. As a malaysian im really disappointed and heartbroken. If u guys, my fellow malaysian family keep falling for this kind of dirty politics, then no one can save this country in few more years. Others countries around us already advancing in fast pace n soon walk pass by us while we fight each other and perish. May good bless the good politician who trying to save this country.
