Hey Cris. Happy New Year. Great summary. Question; can you trigger recording on the SL2S with it and of course does it have a tally light? I filmed a load with my SL2S and found out later it had stopped recording! Broke my heart!
Happy new year! No, you can’t trigger the recording from the monitor. There is a red frame to let you know you are recording though 😊 and it’s works great with my SL2s 👏🏼 cheers!
awesome monitor. it's going to make the price of the Atomos ninja v connect go down for sure. I wanted to see the mounting points ! It seemed that it only had one and it was a simple 1/4" screw... is that correct ? no extra holes on the side to stop it from spinning out of place ?
Yo! Yep atamos better watch out! 😉 It has 2 mounting points one at the bottom and one on the right short side (yes both 1/4) The other short side has 2 HDMI ports and the top long side has the 2 antennas so it’s a no go. Redis moi si tu l’achètes! 😎😁
@@cris_photography good to know. Figured since they both deal with the tonal/dynamic range that you’d be able to use the histogram on A7S3 to figure out the light/shadow areas.

Sony A7S3 has histogram I thought ? Is that not the waveforms or am I confused?
Thanks. No, the histogram shows the exposure too but differently than the waveform 😉 different tool.
