    Just got it out of the closet deciding it worth one last try before tossing it into the trash.
    A rough start with lost passwords etc, it actually installed as per your video.
    Earlier, pulled out the HOSAFE cam out pf same closet and it started to work again.
    Now, back to that blasted Mac Book air.
    Tough being 76

    Thanks for a detailed instructions. I have done this almost a hundred times without success. The App kept showing a problem with connections just after the two minute circle. And the reason was obvious. I did not select the Wi-Fi address, no had reset the camera with the provided pin. So, I decided to to try another way. Plug the white cable to the camera and wait till it rotates. Once it returns back to the standby position, insert the provided pin into the small hole next to the SD card slot and push and hold down for 10 seconds (when you push down you should feel a faint click movement). Take the pin out and wait, the camera will restart. Type your modem Wi-fi password and hit Enter. The camera and modem will communicate for about two minutes. If successfully, the camera is ready to work. It will automatically track your movements. If it doesn't start, chances are that it need to be disconnected from power and then reconnect it and wait till it rotates. Then reset it and wait again for the camera to rotate again. Once it stops rotating, that's when you follow the instruction on this video.

      I've done this 10000 times and no effect. Their software is sooooo broken... I am recommend not buying this product!

      Mine now works, even without this Cloud nonsense. You need to reset it when first connected to power. But you need to wait for it to power (let it rotate first), then insert the small pin into the hole next to the SD card slot and push down then hold for 5-8 seconds (you must feel a soft click as you push down because the pin may not press on the internal button 100%. It's best if you practice before connecting the camera to power until you either hear or feel that 'click'). Like I said, connect to power and wait for it to rotate first time (camera goes around and returns to center point. Then insert the pin and hold down for a few seconds. Once the pin is pulled out (removed), the camera will rotate again and again it will return back to center point. You must wait for the camera to rotate. Use the App on your mobile and it will automatically start. If it doesn't then your Wi-Fi network is off or it's not matching. Is your network address and password correct?

      @@mickcarson8504 After twenty more attempts i was able to connect my phone to the camera directly (second method) and from there i could pick my home netwrok. The 1st option in the app is a total waste of time, at least from my experience. I am glad you didn't have such issues.

      @@BG_Electron do you have to use the apps they suggest? And do you need to pay monthly fees. Sorry I bought a couple of cameras and didn't realise it would be so painful. I downloaded the apps but it took over my other apps so I uninstalled it.

      @@littlebopeeps5852 Maybe there is a way to use different applications, but the camera is constantly losing connection, so i do not know. You are paying monthly fees only if you use their cloud storage, otherwise no.

    BEFORE YOU BUY: After 30 days You have to pay 7$ subscription fee to be able to view your recordings including SD card! Wen pay subscription fee make sure you on unlimited data plan. Camera continuously recording video and uploading to cloud server which also can slow your internet speed.

      Or you could use an app to record your screen if someone sets off your motion detection. It's supposed to be for game steaming, but it worked when someone was in my place last Monday. They stole my PS2 and PS3 leaving my PS5 behind, so stupid. I had enough for the police though. You can also use screen shots while it records. Another tip, email photos of your serial numbers back to yourself. I'm only here because I wanted to move the camera and needed to find the reset button, but my model is different.

    Hints: i had similar problems to other complainers. First issue, I have a dual band modem/router. I am not supposed to use the 5Mhz band. Make sure you use the right one. The guy in the video just inputs password. I had to manually input the network and the password. Failed a number if times because I was spelling it wrong. When you put the phone in front of the camera, keep it steady and move in and out slowly to find the optimum distance that will cause the beep. When it loads with the circular bar, it will normally fail at about 20%. If it passes 30%, it will likely connect.

      So, input the network name? On the back of my router, (Spectrum) it reads (ssid); However, on the app, everytime I have tried to restablish connection, which went down for no known reason, it reads . Do you think if I change the router name (first mentioned on the spectrum label) it may work? I have attempted to reboot from app, reset from external wire, internal reset, even forget the camera an reinstall. Even if I am sitting right beside the router, the camera "failed to connect" to the wifi.
      I may try to utilize a new email and sign in as if I have never had an account.

    Ughhh this camera is so annyoing. I had the shop owner install it for me. And now I can't change the WIFI network.
    I plug it in and it doesn't make any movement. This happens even after I press reset.
    Also the Cloudcamera never shows up in the list of WIFIs.

    it never reads the QR code so it is unusable. So much frustration and lost tempers it needs kicking to bits and binning. Don't buy one.

      I had a small issue with the QR code but adjusting the distance fixed it for me. It even read through the glass fixture surrounding the external light. Works like a champ now

    hello, I am trying to get my camera to get set up but the dam thing doesn't want to connect to my WiFi. I keep resetting it and try again but now its been done 4 times and I feel like I'm running around in a circle. So what gives? How do I get my camera to connect to my phone WiFi?

    Also, when it gets to that part of the set up where it shows you all the networks I see mine and I see the one for the camera. I'm not certain which one I should choose? I've tried both but still have issues. with it failing and not connecting/ PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP ME?

    The YCC365 plus app is full of ads !!, it's difficult to use the camera with such a great number of ads, it's a buy buy buy ... but I've already paid for the camera, so why all those advertisements ?

      @@arminschnee865 Actually I'm able to connect now. It was the application "Adaway" that was blocking it. Disable any popup blocker if you have any and try again

    My camera says that the serial number is already connected to an account so I am unable to add or connect it. I bought this camera used and cannot get in touch with the seller to ask them to remove it from their account so what am I supposed to do?

    It took a long time to configure. The instructions are terrible. I had it connected and it stay on about 45 minutes and then goes into idle. The max amount of time is 45 minutes and there is no option turn this feature off. I had could never get to record to the SD card. I think it demo to buy the service. I have Srihome cam and I do not have to buy the service nor connect to the cloud and I can watch any where in the world with having to paid for a cloud service. One thing about this camera, I disconnected and to tried reinstall it and hoping that it clear the idling time, no such luck I can not get to connect to the internet and keep saying that I have no internet connection even though I have one. There is change the Ip address to keep going back to the same Ip address and the Dns servers can not be changed.

      I found cause of problem. firstly you must reset the camera and you sure that is reseted. after you open the GPS for your phone. if your WİFİ password contains the special characters, you have to change your password. the new password mustnt contain special character.     Gracias por esa información. Me ha sucedido en ocasiones con esas cámaras IP robóticas chinas que cuando saco la memoria SD, la computadora no la reconoce. Además, al volverla a poner en la cámara, tampoco la reconoce. Pero no sucede siempre porque con otra cámara si me volvió a reconocer su respectiva memoria SD. A qué se debe eso? Es la mala calidad de la cámara o de las memorias?

    do not buy
    -app is full of ads
    -sd card replay keeps turn off the camera, I cannot believe that it`s so stupid, I rather think they push me to buy cloud storage
