- To get it, you need to farm pin drops on higher difficulties while lowering your level. The more you go down, the more you raise drop %. You can chain boss noises to raise it even more, but some are story-only so you will have to retry on those.
You will also unlock Full House Trophy when you equip this set.
0:00 - Buy Drop Boost Threads: On Another Day, Buy and Trade all drop boost head & accessory threads you can. It will boost your drop rate for upcoming pin farming
2:18 - No. 254 Black Cat Crush - 104 Building, Buy from Gatto Nero for 960,00 Yen on Another Day
2:33 - No. 256 Black Cat Burst - 104 Building, Trade from Gatto Nero for x3 Scarletite and x1 Sfermion pins on Another Day
2:56 - No. 255 Black Cat Cards - During Another Day (Post-game), after you talk to Hishima at Scrumble Crossing, defeat Cervus Cantus Alpha on Hard while dropping your level to boost pins. Finish the fight with Killer Remix for x3 pin drop
6:54 - No. 257 Black Cat Comet - During Week 2, Day 7, defeat Mr. Mew 2 on Ultimate difficulty. I did this 50 times before I got the drop
10:38 - No. 258 Black Cat Blades - Defeat Boss Noise on Week 3 Day 7, 2nd Day at Takeshita Street (Soul Pluvis) on Hard difficulty
14:27 - No. 259 Black Cat Burn - Defeat Felidae Cantus on Normal or Hard (Another Day, after you talk to Hishima at Scrumble Crossing)

He is not that hard if you get used to his attack pattern. Only the damage is ridiculous high.
Beside you can get the pin drop on Normal and Hard so it easier to breath.
You can stun him most of the time with Electric/Ice/Gravity pin and equipment with “perpetual pain” skill.
He can’t be frozen but you can stop his charge attack.
And lastly try long range attack if you scare
@@akirakilluar Finally beat him (twice, because I was at max level and didn’t get the pin) today. I just kept waiting for his dash claw attack and punishing it. Took a bit, but it worked.
There also the very cheap tactic of using light pins and clothes with regen
Yeah, what makes him hard is just his attack rate and damage. It’s still a crazy fight though.

@@FoggyProductions I got so extremely lucky that it dropped on my first attempt, but I think it made up for me doing the first fight over and over thinking that's where the drop was 😅

I'm here after completing my black cat set, yes it is possible. You'll want our wicked twisters having threads that increase drop rate to get the pins you want, and the Minamimoto boss Can Be Beaten, Just calm down, practice makes perfect, study his moves and you'll be fine. I recommend the pins he used against him, i did and it worked. It's okay if you die a couple times your learning as you fight him.

Question: do threads with an attack boost ability not work, or do they actually work and just not tell me?
I usually try to lock any noise in place with the Black Hole pin or the like so that I can combo them and build my Groove quicker. Does that not work with these bosses?
Edit: It’s one of the pins you get in croaky panic, there are dark and light version with similar abilities but different effects.
It'd really only work on the Mr. Mew fight since there's multiple targets that can get sucked in and bump into each other for extra damage.
Single target bosses would take the normal damage, but I don't think they'd get sucked in like normal enemies. I could be wrong tho.
What makes this the strongest pin set? Do they get multiplied strength when paired together, like the Gatito set in the original game?

Great guide! A few questions; does Minamimoto have a jackpot accessory? Is there any reason otherwise not to have him in your party (my fave character)? How did you get so much Scarletite? I saw you had 19 at one point.
Yes, he has a perfume thread from ill cavaro (or whatever that one on tokyu plaza is called).
Scarletite is easy to farm, check out my video for farming it :)
I'd say the only real reason to use or not use him is preference. While he does have high starting stats, by the time I got him back everyone else had passed him over. Use who you like

Hey so, i don't know what I'm doing wrong but Mr mew 2 fight isn't showing up for me in the west exit bus terminal. In on the correct week & day.
Anyone else have the same issue? First time i hear about this kind of issue. So, you cant finish your chapter at all?
The week 2 day 7 Mr mew fight, do I have to repeat the day everytime I want to redo it or can you save scum as soon as the pin doesn't drop?
Save scum, if you dont get it, close the game, load, repeat :)

How can you re-start the another day chapter? I Killed Cervus Cantus Alpha but didn't get my pin.
Save before fights to load if you dont get it. You can repeat Another Day via Chapter Select from in-game menu
I'm on week3 day7 and I'm at takeshita street. I've already gotten the social skill to see blue boss noise. And I'm at the same spot in this video, and I'm not even using ultimate mode. It's not even spawning. Is there any particular reason why?
At all? Usually it's gonne when you beat it. Be careful, there are 3 days 7 in week 3

Yes, I felt the same at that point, so I suggest you get the other pin set (Yearlong Ensemble) I covered in my channel (you can also check my web topic for pin sets). That will carry you until the end.

im confused with the Minaminoto boss fight. im legit up in his face asking him to fight back while dodging ever swing he makes to the point he has like 20% health left... then out of nowhere he leaps up high in the air and does a ground pound my party at this point is scattered like broken glass on a floor and he always nips someone which = death might not be on the first try or the 2nd but he always seem to hit someone while the character im using is at the end of the map...
i saw you were healing when he goes up which gives you control of Neku.. i'll give that a try (2 hours in only dying by that pound)
The Neku Heal work twice but as i was about to kill him he ground pound and turn me to dust....
Update* got it, when he goes up in the air just stand stationary at the edge of the arena while healing, if you see a crack nearby dodge

No idea about preorder, these are all regular in-game pins

The threads is an early purchase deal (less than a few days after release I think?) while the profile avatars are a preorder deal. I honestly didn’t care about the avatars thing since the PS5 is severely lacking in theme customisation but I definitely wanted Neku’s outfit. Too bad it doesn’t affect your in-game appearance tho 😢
Doing a killer remix helps a lot for Mr mew fight. Set up deck to get it up. Makes it about 50/50. I had about 19% base drop with acce. Got it on 6th try

I've been resetting the game everytime I don't get black cat comet, it's faster tan fighting against the 2nd phase of Tsugumi. Does this affect in achieving the pin?
I did it like that as well (closing the game, booting it up, loading). It doenst affect the rates

Would it help if the whole party wore "Of the shoulder top” shirt for increased damage for the Gatto Nero pins ?
As far as I know, it only raises the pin for the holder and the one having thread. Try, maybe im wrong :)

ONE wearer raises the attacks in the ENTIRE party with the same Gatto Nero Brand Pins by 10 - 20 damage.
Having the whole party wear it ups the power even more.
EDIT : I tried comparing the damage if I should wear the "Off the shoulder top" shirt or a shirt with a "Attack Boost IV" ability. I tried it with Minamimoto.
The "Attack Boost IV" ability ups the power by 5 - 10 more damage of that ONE character but decreases the power of the pins of the ENTIRE party for not wearing the same branded shirt. So it's more wise to wear the "Off the shoulder top" shirt.

The first game was very complicated for me at the time, I couldn't keep up what the game throws at me. Though I finished it, I couldn't understand the story and never bothered getting the secret reports.
I forgot all about the series until the Anime came and refreshes my mind.
I have an easier time keeping up now. Now the story is getting interesting with Minamimoto, Hazuki and the Angels. Hope the sequel will come in less than 14 years. 😂🤣

Well, you can try to kick them when they start going towards you, that will kick them away. Or avoiding them

I got black comet with an about 18% drop rate on my secpnd attempt lol
Finished this ensemble in a day. I suggest that you cheat the absurdly low drop rate of the 4 dropped Black Cat pins by applying Godmother Lode / Jinxed Jackpot Threads with 2 Regen III Accessories on your characters (I recommend Rindo, Fret, Neku or Minamimoto since these 4 are easily raisable Style Stat characters in the game.)
I got Black Cat pin from Suskuchi Cantus and Secret Boss Minamimoto in one try due to this placebo treasure multiplier, and I got Black Cat pin from the Mr Mew 2nd fight in just 2 tries.
I think I got lucky with the blades one, since it dropped for me on Week 3 Day 7 before Shiba's 2nd phase where you fight the Noise Fog.
Tldr: always play on level 1. High risk. High rewards.
One thing we spilled all agree on is how fucking ridiculous the drops are like wtff
You want to kill Mr Mew with a killer remix for 3x drop rate if possible.
It never helped, I thinks it's bugged on that fight, many ppl also confirmed. Also, I think I do mention that in the video :)
@@FoggyProductions Pretty sure it is bugged. Did the Time Trial on Ultimate with a x47 drop rate going in, which with the reduction of 11, that is x517 drop rate for the entire trial. Finished Mr.Mew fight with a killer remix, which the multiplier I got is 2.5, which means the drop rate should be over x1000, which should be guaranteed drop as the Ultimate drop pin is equal to 1/10 of your drop rate for Mr. Mew second fight, assuming my math is correct.

problems. The others are nowhere as hard. Another Susukichi on Ultimate is doable but this boss on hard is so tough and deadly..
@@scys3k 2 wrong moves and you are dead. The trick is to learn how to dodge his main attack when he charges and swings. When you master that one, you will win.

I think Revivify Ensemble is the best counter in this fight. Alongside the Water Rocket pin you can get in Croaky Frog.

Been retrying the one in Mayashite Park . Giant Jelly Plague Noise
So far im on level 1/100 with drop rate of x143.0
It so hard to get it with 7.73% change of getting the pin .
Finish with Killer Remix to raise it x3
@@FoggyProductions I did. there's no like floating plague noise symbol in the game. so its hard to farm them.
@@TheMindefer you have to defeat them kinda quick, or try not to take a lot of damage as it'll decrease the chances of you getting it
This pin set sucks. The light pin set is still better.
