I don't know why people keep saying his English is bad? I mean, he's not living anymore in the US, he only lived there when he was younger...his English is really good in my opinion.
As an American living in Korea, I can say his English sounds "American-ish". Even Koreans here who have really high English skills can never get that "American" feel to their speaking unless they've spent some time living abroad. Yoo-chun has lived five years in the US, and it shows.
Fact: Yoochun spent some of his childhood years growing up in Virginia. Specifically Northern Virginia, suburbs outside DC. Northern Virginia does not carry a twang like the southern parts of Virginia. Yoochun's english sounds decent considering he hasnt lived in the states for well over decade.
As someone who lives in Virginia Beach, I can say that thankfully, most of us don’t have a southern twang here LOL! Imagine if Yoochun lived in Halifax or Franklin Virginia... oh he would carry such a heavy accent! Haha
You know what's really funny??? I hear an asian accent, yes, but even more so I hear the southern twang that is known in Virginia. Lmfao that's too funny!
I likes yoochun when he's were use English to speak anyway. He's good in English And he is really.. Really.. Could speak English not just a drama or the movie but in the real life. That's why I'm going fall in love with him. And one thing is there's No surgery plastic then.

I wouldn't really call this an "American" accent as what others have pointed out. It sounds more like a typical clean, slightly Asian-accented English (that's the best way I can describe it lol). Being Singaporean, i can identify with this accent as that is the way many of us speak here. Also the reasons why his diction sounds so good here is because all he had to do was memorise a script, as opposed to doing interviews where he had to think of what to say on the spot, so he tends to mumble his way through.

Just checked, he was only in the states for 3 years. Taecyeon 7 years and nickhun was born in the states.
