Sorry about all the loss your family has suffered. That’s really rough.
But great video. I love a good cold test. I definitely recommend a stove upgrade for winter camping so you don’t have to baby those canisters. I think you can go pretty light in the winter so long as you’re not going too deep into the woods. But I’m also a hammocker so low weight isn’t something I’m usually shooting for.

Sorry you've had so much pain and loss in your family. That's really hard.
This was a good video. What was the synthetic quilt? You aren't far from me so seeing the conditions at the site was helpful, too. I have 20° down and a 40° synthetic quilts this gives me some idea of what might work. But I'm a hammock camper. Was looking at all those great trees to hang from! Take care.

Thank you for your condolences ❤️ The synth quilt is the Spirit 28 by Mountain Laurel Designs - It’s a pretty cool quilt for conditions like these. Definitely lots of good places to hang! I love hearing from people who are local btw! Maybe I’ll see you out there sometime 👊 If you’re interested, here’s a video where I talk about the quilt a little bit (and other UL gear): ua-cam.com/video/h8i9wrBW7rg/v-deo.htmlsi=nvRbkrL7TttwD08u
