To quote the r-zone commercial kid. (which is on UA-cam.)
“Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhh!”
Outrun was pretty good
Though Tiger Electronics did made TMNT game, the one shown in the video was made by KONAMI, not Tiger Electronics.
I like your UA-cam icon. Miauw!
applemctom hahaha thanks dude!
@@kaizer3000jp I played that turtles one, it's from Konami
This and Contra
Great video
I fondly remember playing Strider and Altered Beast Tiger LCD games as a lad.
IIRC, there's no true end to these games. They were just endless loops.
I can still hear the "audio" for Strider some 32 years after I got it. That's how much I played the thing. 😆
I was a god at Double Dragon back in the day. I could beat that game without losing a life. It was clunky as hell, but it was fun. And 1943 was also a fun shoot em up on Tiger.
If you ever want to try a fun LCD game, I suggest talking baseball by Vtech.
Gauntlet was fun.
класс
I was hoping to see nascar from tiger on here I own the Dale Earnhardt one
You forgot the snake's revenge tiger electronic one. It is quite unique compared to other of these handheld games since it has voice dialogues.
The Tiger version of Sonic Spinball is my favorite version of the game. I hate the Genesis and Master System versions, but the Tiger version of Sonic Spinball is actually beatable, and it's music, though repetitive, is less grating than the Genesis version's entire soundtrack.
What were they thinking
Baseball games were good
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES was a KONAMI Game
on Tiger Handheld
I thought baseball, heavy barrel, and Aladdin were big too.
I was hoping to find that old tennis game that I had as a kid here. Maybe it wasn't a a tiger game. 🤔
Maybe this one? ua-cam.com/video/oj3As7rsOCs/v-deo.html
Tmnt, Contra and Darius are from Konami, not Tiger!!
Very nice video and music 😉
Thanks! BTW The video is about the platform, not about the developer.
once they were considered stuff for the poor, now it's stuff for the rich to have even just one of these Marks

450 games Tiger
once they were considered stuff for the poor, now it's stuff for the rich to have even just one of these Marks

i would not mind LCD games like this if they try to make them good, and you can make them good. The best type of game i can see this working is to make this like a dot matrix handheld and make it into a turn-based RPG game or a textbase game or make it into a dragon like game like how an indie video game make one for the xbox live indie arcade call LCD Dungeon System XBLIG go look it up
@Klaus Sperger yes they can in the 80s for cheap as well, but to a big guy like them whats bring in more money 5$ worth of parts with half ass games you can barely call games for a profit of 15$ each or put in 7$ into it and 2 more $ into it to make a good one for a profit of 10$.
knowing you will sell millions of them its clear what they picked.
@Klaus Sperger ya true and a ghetto rat myself it was better then playing with sand all the time at the school playground and backyard with cheap dollar tree army men.
but we can agree they should do better at times.
Ultra HD 4k 60 fps...
Lol ;)
These things where a joke
But the talking ones were interesting to say the least.
Your lack of grammar is a joke pal.
belstar You might as well say Nintendo’s Game & Watch games were a joke.
@@Rgoid Well no because the game and watch came out in the early 80s when there where no real good hand held consoles and they where not trying to do things that where too advanced and did not use false advertising.
The tiger games are from the 90s when the game boy existed and they where trying to port the most advanced games of the era to the hand held's and using ridiculous false advertising.
@@belstar1128 You don’t know how LCD games work.
False advertising?
More like exaggeration. But if it got folks to buy the games then it worked.
I want everybody to take off their rose-tinted glasses for what I am about to say to these Tiger games. They were never good! They were cheap, crappy LCD renditions of already existing games.
They’re novelty items to me. It’s the little drawing animations that’s fascinating to me and the fact that this is done with LCD. That’s kind of a marvel, if you ask me. Yeah, it’s shitty, but it actually functions as a game. I think Mortal Kombat is TE’s best work, they managed to pack in all the characters of the original into this shitty format. That’s impressive!
