Seeing a lot of commenters saying that collecting sputum is very hard worries me. Tomorrow after I wake up I should collect my sputum.. and thinking about it is kind of impossible honestly because how am I going to be able to spit the sputum out if it's stored deep inside my lungs?

Spitting sputum is very hard specially when you have no tuberculosis. What if you can't really cough out sputum?Why the doctors not finding other ways to determine if you really have tuberculosis.

I am trying really hard collecting sputum for 2 hrs , still couldn't get 😂

Very same to me, man. I'm struggling with this since 2020. Still cannot get cough up sputum. But my x-rays says that my TB is active. But they're not that totally sure either. I don't understand. I just want to get a medicine now.

For God's sake, I've been trying to spit sputum out for tens of years to no avail. I can feel it there in the back of my throat in very few occasions, but it refuses to come out even after hard coughing/exhaling n immediately gulp back down. I feel like a failure of a human being for not being able to collect sputum 🥲

PPD or TB Skin Test is the other way to know if you really have TB
