I'm sad that mages still don't effectively counter infantry... Thundelyn's skills counter cavalry!! -> -40% march speed drastically hurts cavalry -> AoE DoT that follows the target - hurts multi-march cavalry the most as they clump/move together. -> Artifact that traps targets in a circle and silences them - hurts multi-march cavalry the most. When are the devs actually going to make mages that counter infantry properly? We NEED a mage that makes counter-attacks miss and do less damage... Goresh-Skogul STILL DOES NOT HAVE A DIRECT COUNTER?!
The double counter attack and more additional counter attack from skills and artifacts just make gorsko unstoppable. They just need to add more Heroes with double counter attack
@HulksdenGaming I invested hard into Mogro 5/5/5/1 from day 1 and glad I went kinda slow on Danfael. Was tryin to save some heads for the mages, happy I did! This new pvp one has alot going on, should be some interesting testing
I'm guessing the rage skill will probably be 1600 damage factor and maybe 400 shield Factor. The pet is interesting for sure I'm glad I didn't use my crystals
I dislike that cod seems to copy the mistakes of RoK now making new heros substantially stronger than old ones. I was pleasantly surprised that lilya/theia was stronger than bert/tohar but then they buff them. same for gorsko vs denfyl morgro... I expect S2 archers to be buffed too in open field cuz they are weaker than s1 ones there. This is a well known issue among devs called power creep and it has well known solutions, but devs dont seem interested in solving it anymore, they play right into it, ruining the game that I love. Very disappointed. I liked that heros were best in what they do best but now they are just like F it new heros must be stronger than old ones to make money which isnt true at all. Sad days for the cod community. Nerf danfyl/morgro and bert/tohar to their previous power lvl and nerf S3 mages and archers please dont copy stupid mistakes from RoK that slowly but surely kill the game once players realize they are caught in a power creep loop :(
as a dev lemme tell ya its easily possible to avoid power creep entirely while also avoiding balancing (buffs/nerfs) and while not losing out on customer purchases but devs are either not interested in it or they do a very poor job at it -.- the solution is make new heros and artifacts appear stronger with cool new effects, but not actually be stronger reflected in numbers. Abuse humans being emotional creatures to make money and stop pushing numbers higher and higher pleaaaaaase. That makes people cry for buffs/nerfs or even quit, very unhealthy for our beloved game. Heros and artifacts should all share the same power level the interest should come from diversity in their cool effects and/or their usage baiting customers into thinking theyre stronger while they are factually not
Think about super mario for a second, one of the greatest games ever released. Users think levels get harder due to new obsticles, new monsters or new powerups but its factually not harder, numbers were not changed from lvl to lvl. Or think about Tetris, its the user's incresing stresslvl that make the lvl appear harder over time, numbers were not touched since the beginning of the level. Two great games that feel increasingly more difficult without actually having a power creep issue, no balancing issues and the users stay hooked

But instead they introduce power creep issues on hero’s that weren’t there before. Even other P2W mobile games manage to do it, there is no power creep issue in clash of clans for example. They release hero equipments over time, which you need to spend money on to max fast, but there it’s not like every new one is stronger than all others before, cuz that would be pretty dumb and ruin the game. Each one has their usage for different armys/attacks, people don’t even compare how strong they are cuz each one has its right for existence and is useful

They are greeding for quick money and short time success, not thinking into the future. They prolly doubt their game will hold success over the course of next couple of years, which is true but it wouldn’t be the case if they made better decisions. Power Creep is known to be the main reason to kill a game, guess why clash of clans has like what 15 years of success and will continue to be successful, and why same can’t be said about any RoK like game even tho they’re all great games at the baselvl

Thundelyn = massive speed reduction
Thunder Elegy = AoE movement trap and silence
Danfel-Mogro = AoE speed reduction
Deathless Vine = AoE movement trap
