THANKS MATE !, you don't know how much i needed these covers of babymetal with a Les Paul ,It's completely necessary to buy a 7 string 24-fret guitar or something like that to cover those beautiful songs?, .I know that is possible in a 6-string 22-fret Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus but very difficult and i'll have to deal with many different tuning adaptations , string gauge , etc. But , I want to know your opinion of how to deal with babymetal songs with that limited guitar, i'm sure that it would be quite limitating but what can i do to at least cover one song? :c, awesome covers you completely nailed them :D PD: Sorry for my english btw
Thank you! Not going to be too big of a problem until you get into the new songs like "Starlight" which is a 8 or 9 string. Other than you just have to tune and transpose appropriately. I think for my covers the only videos I've used a 7 string are for "Karate" and "The One", but with some transposing etc I think they are also playable on a 7 string. I use .012 to .068 gauge strings on songs that are lower than C. Your english is fine btw! English is not my native language either.

@@brandonmarquez7396 If you would only use the 7 string for Babymetal songs I would get the 6 string. Since it's possible to play many of their songs on a 6 string anyway. Also I think if the 7 string is cheaper than the Epiphone it's not worth it. The Epiphone is a better quality guitar most likely. The .012 - .068 string gauge is not a problem for me because I normally have that guitar in Drop Bb tuning anyway. Might have to file down the nut to be able to fit the .068 string. (Depends on the guitar). For Drop-C (like I use here in the Megitsune video) you can get away with .012 - .060 string gauge. Maybe even .011 to .060. You will have to change strings if you want to play in standard tuning again. I pick/play very hard so I think I would be able to use .068 up until D-tuning before I would change the strings. Another thing to keep in mind when doing big tuning changes, and string gauge jumps is tension on the neck. Too much/little and you will have to adjust the truss rod because the neck can bend. Humidity and cold/warm temperatures will affect this more though. But if you are not a beginner you probably know that already ;) I totally forgot about Akumu no Rondo as well for the 7 string. I actually covered it on my 6 string before, but the video got taken down by a copyright strike :p

And also to have guitars in different tunings . About the strings change , totally agree because I like very very different genres , so to play an smooth song , those bends would hurt hahaha. I will first try to use hybrid strings (thicker 4th , 5th and 6th). Which babymetal song/songs do you recommend to start learning ?(I know they're all difficult but i will give them a try , maybe starting to learn some of the riffs , etc), I'm not a beginner but i'm not a shredder yet :( hahaha .

Mostly because none of them has any crazy solos :p Hardest would be "Road of Resistance", "Tales of the Destinies" and "Amore". "Ijime Dame Zettai" and "Akatsuki" can be a little tricky as well. Good luck on your guitar journey! :D
