A police officer opened the lid to a box which knocked down a few paintings, which bumped into a bookshelf, which knocked down a light rolling weight, which knocked down a few statues, which broke a stand, which made the statue of a head fly, which knocked down a few more statues, which made another police officer jump into another police officer's arms, which made both police officers jump into a casket. Get this! The door to the casket closed right after the police officers jumped in. The first police officer tried to open the door to the casket, but it was stuck.
Madeline sounds like Sophie from Todd world & Cassie from dragon tales McKenna from Care Bears adventures in care a lot skittles from make way for noddy & Miss Clavel sounds like Darlin from 2006 Yankees Movie Everyone’s hero from 20th Century Fox & IDT Entertainment
@MissGenius3847 Yes, that was Chantal Strand, replacing "Dragon Tales" co-star Andrea Libman (I think it was because she had turned 18), who voiced Emmy on that show.
We're going to just accept that for this special and then NEVER speak of it again. Judith Orban and Stevie Vallance are the ONLY actors who are allowed to voice Ms. Clavel. Frances McDormand may play her live-action...
Thomas/Franklin Parodies Casts for Each Parody aren't almost just the same. But mostly like is Thomas as Franklin. Here's a list of examples: Cast Franklin - Thomas/James/Duck/Edward/Stepney/Stanley/Toby/Dennis/Gordon/Henry/Percy/Billy/Charlie/Whiff/Bertie/Donald/Douglas/Bill/Ben
All right, so far so good Chantal. Not a jarring transition like Tracy to Andrea. I think we can all enjoy the movie. Wait...what's up with Ms. Clavel's voice? Was Stevie sick when they were making this...OH NO!
I just don't understand why Whoopi Goldberg is Miss Clavel....... Seriously? No offense to Whoopi, but they couldn't have found a soft voiced, light pitched woman who could imitate a soft French accent for the role?
That's what I don't get either. Judith Orban and Stevie Vallance were both great in that role. Stevie actually managed a lot of the voice acting in the series, for which she earned an Emmy. Then they bring in Whoopi and now the character is ruined.
I'm good with the new narrator. I'm glad they didn't swap him out after Season 3. But Chris did win an Emmy for his work on the show. Sad that Lost in Paris was his last one.
I didn't like this movie as a kid and I still don't like it now because I thought the plot was stupid and she kept getting blamed for EVERYTHING (despite doing a lot of things of her own accord, still pisses me off)! That's why I really want to see "Madeline in Tahiti" (2007) to see if they can redeem themselves of how problematic the story in this was. Other problems of mine include, Miss Clavel's voice and Madeline's hair color. Oh and spoiler alert, they didn't end it with a "That's all there is, there isn't any more" rhyme which was an important once an episode (heck, once a BOOK) formula for this franchise.
By the way, I have to agree with you on _My Fair Madeline_. It was pretty mean-spirited towards Madeline. The _Thomas & Friends_ film _Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure_ handled _My Fair Madeline_'s conflict in a much better way. That said, if I could name one thing that I like about _My Fair Madeline_, it'd be Chantal Strand's voice acting as Madeline. Her French accent is very convincing. And (spoiler alert) she gets to reprise Madeline in _Madeline in Tahiti_! I've seen the film, but I'm taking my time to decide on how I truly feel about it. For now at least, I think it's better than _My Fair Madeline_. :)
Madeline in Tahiti is 100x better than this. Not only is Madeline & Pepito's love story the main focus, but it also gives me Hawaii vibes & it even ends with the "That's all there is, there isn't any more." line.
@littlemissmadeline28 Exactly. The more they changed Madeline's voice the weaker it sounds, sounding more like a 5-year old within each movie (or episode in that matter).
I like the Madeline movie my Fair Madeline it's very cute!
My fair madeline is by far my absolute favourite OMG I just love it. My childhood!
Don't get me wrong. I love Madeline, but this movie is a mean-spirited trainwreck. Madeline getting abused was so infuriating to watch.
I love hearing Chantal Strand as Madeline. She voiced Bijou in Hamtaro, one of my all-time favorite shows. I'm friends with her on Facebook too!
We all knew Danielle was waiting in the wings ready to take over the franchise...
The "Madeline is cosmically unlucky for almost 74 minutes" movie
childhood -cries to be young again! KIDS! DON'T GROW UP! IT'S A TRAP!
Also, did anyone else notice that Madeline is voiced by Cassie from "Dragon Tales" (Chantal Strand)? :)
Chantal voiced a number of character in the series while Andrea had Madeline.
I HATED that show as a kid, but I loved Madeline.

As I was saying, My Fair Madeline is released on VHS and DVD by MGM Home Entertainment.
I was a little surprised to find out that Whoopi Goldberg voiced Miss Clavel here, but she actually does a pretty decent job :)
RoadRunnerCoyote17 Same! I never knew that was her
Please understand that I'm very hesitant to take your word on that. I came here to watch Madeline, not The View.
Nostalgia is the word.
My childhood memory x'3

@johneli25 Whoopi as Miss Clavel?!
And that's where I quit...
Why didnt Madeline just show the cop the scissors to prove that she's innocent
Whoopi goldberd is a great actress for this flim
You'll have to understand my skepticism...
@@thenewadventuresofhenry6998 No we don't nor care. 😊
She did a pretty good job.

In this movie, Miss Clavel has a deep voice. She sounds either like a man or a dignified teacher.
We're going to just accept that for this special and then NEVER speak of it again. Judith Orban and Stevie Vallance are the ONLY actors who are allowed to voice Ms. Clavel. Frances McDormand may play her live-action...
It's Whoopi Goldberg from The View.
She sounds like a dignified teacher which is perfect for Ms.Clavel. 😊👍💜
@@thenewadventuresofhenry6998 Jane Mortifee did her voice in Madeline in Tahiti and it sounded like the Miss Clavel we all know.
@@jwelch5742, she was also in The Lion King (1994) & Racing Stripes.

Same deal with how she tackled Pepito despite getting lifted by an updraft. Madeline should join the Avengers.
5:46 Madeline is rosing up her cheeks
Whoopi Goldberg really nailed her French accent!!!💖🇫🇷
Madeline seems to be more of a brown head then a red hed in
Schubie and Me ikr 🤔 it looks like it too
anyone else think Madeline's hair looks more brown than red in this movie?
Children's hair darkens with age. Why is that the biggest complaint among the fandom and not that they betrayed Stevie Vallance?
@littlemissmadeline28 Is it the last ever of Madeline on TV?
@littlemissmadeline28 newer episodes are good also, but classics are good, season 2 is good also
I'm gonna have to be an originalist and assert that the specials are the best. But I think DIC hit the animation and voice stride by Lost in Paris.
thanks for the upload :)
So cute!
Re-upload "Old Violin" please. One of the songs they play towards the end of this episode is Mozart's "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik."
All right, so far so good Chantal. Not a jarring transition like Tracy to Andrea. I think we can all enjoy the movie. Wait...what's up with Ms. Clavel's voice? Was Stevie sick when they were making this...OH NO!
