Exciting! It's tough to get away. When we only have hens in the winter we were able to get to Newfoundland for a week. They survived! Have a great trip, excited to see where you go

We have cut only one wing so the chicken flies lopsided and so far they have not been able to get over our netting. They may be what you are doing and your birds are just better fliers! Just thought I would mention because it has worked for us.
