While there were many good things about Robin coming back from the dead (the scenes at the church) I feel some of this stuff was botched like the stuff with Sabrina...
Ridiculously botched. Patrick couldn't take his wedding ring off until October (the Sabrina wedding was in November), he went to the lab hoping to see Robin the morning of his wedding to Sabrina, cried about Robin just before his proposal to Sabrina, and he took a THIRTY second pause before saying "I do" to Sabrina. And the audience is supposed to believe that he loves Robin and Sabrina equally? Seriously? 30 seconds is a long ass time. If any man took a pause that long to say "I do", I would be walking out the church myself. He was clearly in love with Robin, and the long drag out was so lame.
It was sooooo lame. And then dragging it all out afterwards and the baby drama with Sabrina. I mean, it was just an insult to long-time Scrubs fans. If the writers had dispensed with that stuff then there could have been more focus on them being together and we may have been able to see a little bit of our old Scrubs with their classic humor. I would have also involved Patrick more in the decision making with Robin leaving so that it wasn't so much like she was deserting her family. It would have been so much more powerful if Patrick was like "Go, you have to do this. I know you. You have to do this," instead of Robin saying that. Then later finding out she was being held hostage and that's why she couldn't return...I just refuse to acknowledge that they ever divorced. LOL And I agree about the 30 second pause too. Instead of the camera focusing on him, I think it would have been incredible if instead all his memories of Robin rapidly flashed on the screen like a super fast montage. Maybe I should go write my own soap. :)
lexi219 it was obvious that he was going to choose Robin but I guess for some unknown reason they wanted this story line to drag on like people forget he had to be talked into every milestone in his and Sabrina's relationship, someone had to push him alon the way to take the next steps
I love Spinelli, I just think he’s the kindest person.
