The part about going first in tic-tac-toe is an understatement. If you don’t go first in tic-tac-toe, and you’re opponent doesn’t blunder the game, you mathematically cannot win. If you go 2nd, the best you can do is draw.
Playing right is important here. Start first and put it in the middle. If your enemy goes in the corner you win if it’s the edge it’s a draw. If you’re second and they put it in the middle play the edge. If they don’t play middle put yourself in the middle and play on the win.
As GothamChess always said, “It’s starts pff with e4, e5, the kings pawn followed by knight f3 and knight c6 then bishop c4, the Italian game.” These were such inspiring words that I will never forget when I’m playing chess
The thing is after e5 most common move is Sicilian which is c5 or even c4 which is scandavian, both of these defenses are hard to play against so I agree with get good.
I actually think a better way is to choose scissors, and then before your opponent has a chance to choose anything, run as fast as you can in the other direction.
The rock paper scissors meta hasn‘t always been this anti-scissor, but with the psychological update, which was trying to bring a bit of fresh air into the game, scissors completely fell out of the meta for high level players, but in lower levels it also gets used less than paper or rock. This concludes to one obvious answer, buff scissors. Here‘s my take on how to do that. Give the scissors a small percent chance to still defeat rock. If it fails and scissors take over the meta, revert it and remove the psychological side of the game, which has been controversial from the start. This will bring the game back to when the meta was still balanced
My strategy to always win rock paper scissors: Go for paper. The other person will most likely also go for paper (unless it is just in my school) If you didn’t go for paper but they still picked the same one as you, in the next turn go for the same one you just did. Like paper. This is how most of my games go. ✋🤚 ✋✊ Hope people see this :)
The heck E4 and E5 aint increasing your odds of winning Its increasing your odds of doing an opening and if you mess that up since e4 and e5 is common then your doomed
If you're a beginner, do NOT play e4 e5, unless you're playing against another beginner. It is the most common opening in chess, which is why the statistics manipulate the perception that you'd win more. Personally, I would recommend the Retí, which starts with Nf3.
for TTT its pretty simple. The first player is "Attacker" and the 2nd move is the "Defender" It is not possible to "win" as the 2nd person unless the first one messes up hard. And the first person can only win if the 2nd person is does not counter them correctly each move. Has very little to do with "tricking" once you know every move set, as there is very little like chess, its a tie every single time non stop lol.

in chess, try playing the scotch game it goes great like this: e4 e5 Nf3 Nc6 Pd4 if pawn takes pawn, take it with your knight, when he takes back take with queen
The tic tac toe trick will only work if your enemy doesnt mark a corner as his first move. Btw, it doesnt matter if you go into the corner first. The result will be the very same if you just draw that pattern. Actually, its better to go into the middle first. It will cut off 1 out of the 2 weaknesses of that strategy.
If your playing rock paper scissors against a smaller kid, use rock, because the kid almost always picks scissors because they pick the last option they hear. (rock, paper, *scissors*)
With battleship, make sure there is a lot of empty space, full rows or columns that have nothing in them. It wastes a lot of your opponent's guesses. Also mark where they are guessing, so you can know the area they're trying to hit. If they are guessing in specific areas a lot, try guessing in that area; they might be subconsciously thinking about where they would put their ship. Guess randomly until you hit something, don't go alphabetically (A1, A2, A3, etc.) because it's a huge waste of time.
the tic tac toe one is wrong the best move at the start is in the middle and then if your opponent doesn't go in one of the corners you have won and just need to find your two way win
