    Loving my new pack

    Thank you for the very detail-oriented, methodical review of the pack. This is my first season of treestand hunting after a few years of spot and stalk in Colorado. Being able see a well done breakdown of this pack's functionality helps me choose my gear in this new kind of hunting I'm doing.

    Looks like a solid pack, definitely would use it during the late season and will probably pick one up. Would love to see a condensed version of this pack with the saddle hunter in mind. Sleek, quiet and just enough room for sticks, saddle platform, and maybe a hoodie. Looks like another great product from ya'll.

    If only this had come out 6 months ago when I bought my frame pack, I probably would have gone with this instead! What a beast of a pack! Though if I'm honest, the one thing I don't see on this or many other packs is enough MOLLE webbing, especially on the outside face. I particularly like using the MOLLE for attaching my saddle platform, bungie cords, or additional clipping straps. I don't want to have to entirely open or disassemble the pack when I'm 20 feet in a tree ready to attach the platform; singing the bag off one shoulder and detaching the platform quickly and easily from the outside of the pack is a must. A pocket for a water bladder would also be a nice feature. When I need to replace my current day pack, though, this will get strong consideration. Nicely done!

    Seems very well thought out. I had one question, When you attach the Treestand, using the the two lighter colored straps, how would you fasten the climbing sticks, if those straps are already in use? I guess you could throw your sticks in at that point but it dosn’t seem like they would be very secure, and could be noisy if you were to strap the sticks to the stand.

      Hey Chris. You’ve got a couple options. If you aren’t using the bow carry mode, you can strap climbing sticks to the back of the pack. We’ve also run them on the side of the pack using the side straps and using accessory straps on the bottom molle!

    I have made switch to frame packs. Not everyone hunts private land that you can use a ATV or truck to hual out a kill after a short drag the food plot. Tree stand / saddle , gear weapon and a dead deer requires either multiple trips or a frame pack and do it in one trip quartered out .

    I'm not a tree stand hunter, so I don't know much about the need for this type of bag, or how it compares to others out there. But this video is one of the better I've seen in terms of a pack review. Very detailed but also quick to the point, where some shorter videos are not enough and others are almost 30 minutes. I hope that First Lite has some plans for bags outside of whitetail specific, such as day bags and multi day hunting bags. If they can put as much thought and time in to them as they did this bag, I'm sure it'd step up to the competition .
    Any plans First Lite?

  • @bendrixbailey1430
    @bendrixbailey1430 2 роки тому +1

    If FirstLite truly wants to be serious about Whitetail hunting, then start offering a line with ScentLock carbon technology in the fabric. It does work. I’ve been using it for 20 years. As to this pack it is very well designed for the treestand hunter. Nice job.

    • @FirstLiteHuntingApparel
      @FirstLiteHuntingApparel  2 роки тому +1

      Hey Bendrix, our whitetail gear uses 37.5 active particle technology which traps in human odor. And since it’s embedded in the materials it doesn’t wash off!
