Well i've come to realise that you don't need to crank up the gain so much. You just need to mess with the EQ mostly, because they play with mesa boogies. Just try putting more mids on your eq, it kinda works for me. Gain should be at 12 o'clock more or less.
Lamb of God's live tones are absolutely ridiculous. Their sound manager needs a grammy for his work alone. When they played the Download festival, it sounded good enough to be made into an album.

Not to mention it's also more comfortable to play if you're not doing obscene stretches, to me at least.

Sus2 and sus9 is actually the same thing an octave higher from the root, which is what Matt's playing, sus means suspended (you replace the major/minor third with another note of the scale, often the 2nd or the 4th). Add means you take your normal (example) E minor chord (E,G,B) and throw the 9th on top of that. Since power chords can't really be considered chords in formal music theory and Matt is only playing an E, a B and an F# you'd be more correct if you called it Esus9, or you could just go full jazz guy and say the's playing an F#m7sus4 omitting the fifth lol
Well considering James is the Rhythm guitarist I should hope so but James is a very solid Rhythm player, he creates some really good riffs and his speed is amazing considering he pretty much downpicks everything he plays. In the sense of rhythm guitar, it is very debatable who is better out of James and Dave. Kirk, yes, technically Dave is alot better than Kirk though I always find Dave's solos less impressive and interesting. Kirk has a certain thing that Dave doesn't, it's called feeling.
