I know you say this applies for arena pvp, but what about open world pvp? Also what build, loadout, power, etc is the best for beating a Mental Controller in open world pvp? I ask this because there are people abusing the broken mental power in open world and its annoying and hard as hell to kill them. I'm Ice, any suggestion for that to beat the mental too?

He's not telling players how to spec correctly for their roles, he's basically showing them how to Spam as a dps in support roles. This is a noob tactic..

Nah, he has low sp, so he is giving a guide to those as such. But, the info on diminishing returns is far off. And his spec info should only be used to maximize low sp. Other than that it seems like he is a new ,pvp only guy that has a lot to learn. Daybreak was 5 years after mental and reflect pain. They had nothing to do with that move.
You just gotta lower that music volume

You say hybrid is the worst Idk why. I use a hybrid prec build on a few of my toons and i destroy majority if people that come my way in arenas. Regardless of power and role. You may think its the worst but surely there are a people out there who use hybrid and would destroy mofos left and right.
I think the point he’s making is that you would be better off as prec or superpowered
Acheron Ash good for you that you can beat people with hybrid but you would be beating them much easier with one of the other focusses 😂
Im prec based and use my weapon like crazy..so hybrid actually works way better for me especially with power regin.

Do any weapons have an advantage over the others in pvp? I'm based in EU but I play on NA server which gives me a slight lag when I'm countering. What weapon would you advice in that case? Mainly for 4v4.
In terms of countering no particular weapon is better than any of the others it all depends on your reactions so go with whatever your most comfortable with.
For 4s things are a bit more complicated but as a general rule you want to make sure you have a balance of Single target and multi target weapons between your team

Lol I spec full might n power with my sp n buffs my might touched 6100 in arenas so your bugging about the 100 sp only
He clearly shows that your stats still increase if you spec past 100 sp but the point he’s making is that it’s not worth it, which is correct

Youre wrong. You should spec 20 into crit dmg chance then might and power. Even tho I say crit damages are useless in dps, they’re the only ones most powers can get use of.
(Sidenote - crit powers are only relevant stats in troll role)

Man can you please help me out clear my confusion? I am still pve but i have all my sockets filled with generator mods except affinity. But my cell arent still active. Do i need to change to pvp gear to have active cells or do i require to pay with real money? I am using free account
How significant is soder + compound buff?
Not much. But people generally disregard them in pvp because a difference is a difference + some people can get stronger buffs than others and you can only see that someone is buffed not by how much. Thats why its an unspoken rule to not buff - it just keeps things less complicated

My mind is blown… I didn’t know any of this. Can you do more vids on PvP? I’m trying to learn it now. Everything from the info you just shared to why it is so hard to get Q’d into matches with people even if you both Q for it. Or even all the different PvP modes and marks and stuff like that? That would be huge for me with the way you break things down and test them

Guess i have to jump back in the game and respec my pvp armory
the only thing they have to fix in pvp is the dps buffs on pvp to make it even. Its normal that in mmorpg games on pvp they buff stats to make everybody even. Like for example Guild of wars 2 pvp everybody is max lvl and everybody has free gear and stats to choose. Super normal but they need to buff the dps imo
I agree. It's difficult to win against the other powers. Not to mention the munitions nerf. I guess too many people cried about munitions being too powerful. But now they made it so everyone is overpowering munitions. No buffs and no power 😞.

Nope thats literally the best thing to do. Daybreak didn’t think that move through :(
Just hit it with the hardest hitting move you have the longer you take to take it off the faster it’ll be popped again

quick question. today i got into an argument with another player and we went back and forth and afterwards people were sayin i was done and i was going to be stuck on the connection screen later and a few hours later my game logged me out and said please contact customer service and when i was connecting back i was stuck on the connecting screen. i can log on dc on my seperate psn account but my main which has alot of items i grinded is still stuck on loading screen. please help

Hey love the video helps me understand how to spec and stuff for pvp right now I have all roles maxed for PvE and 540 SkillPoints so been looking into pvp would you recommend a good power to start with in getting my gears easier and win better when I don't have gears?
Glad you enjoyed and wow that’s a lot of sp. The power I would recommend for the easiest wins is atomic tank but if you actually wanna have fun try atomic dps. I ran a tournament and someone got 3rd with it it’s pretty good
