Neat! But with this electric machine, I can only work one hour of heavy duty loads before charging for one hour and then repeat. With the diesel version, I can work for four hours, re-fill the tank for five minutes and work for another four hours. The battery capacity and charging time needs improvements before I'd consider electric farm equipment.
Not even one hour of work and just one hour charging...charging it completely takes 5 hours according to Avant. Usually it won't be totally empty and you won't need to charge it all the way full, but still... It does have AGM batteries instead of lithium so I don't know how they handle the cold (probably better), but at least with lithium in cold weather the battery consumption can rise massively and you might halve your 'range' or working time.
