I'm personally painting Haradrim force myself but feeling the call of Mirkwood so potentially couple of elves with Thranduil down the line for me :).

With this new releases, Mordor battlehost caught my eye. I loved the Nazgul. Remember when the Fel beast model came out. This looks like all the stuff I want in an army. Nazgul, Wargs, trolls, oh my.
Yeah, he did an awesome job. I'll be getting him back on the channel for the new style battle reports too. I think he has a pure troll army has been working on. 😀
Who are you calling "baddies"? We all know that Sauron, our Lord and Saviour, stands for a progressive, and class free Middle Earth. Industrializing the world, creating jobs, and breaking the conservative romanticized view of the gentry and countryside is all that Mordor is working towards. The Elves and Men are the bad guys really: always talking about heritage, bloodlines, kingship and those kinds of oppressive structures. Vote Sauron. Anyway, great army. Well painted and composed! I'm currently building my own Mordor force but for the game system SAGA Age of Magic as I don't like the GW adaptation of the Lord of the Rings.
Excellent army overview here - our local games club is just getting into Lord of the Rings, I feel ashamed I haven't looked into any sooner! Keen to start my own Mordor force!
I think the skaven would overwhelm anything in LOTR mainly because they have Gatling guns and artillery as well cannon fodder units that just throw themselves at the opponent
