So apparently I forgot Crystal sirenix lol but it was not in the comp video I watched 🤦🏾♀️ but I just now watched it and didn't see too much of a difference but it's more sparkly and that the fits are a bit different lol but I think I like it more than the one in this one. Just wanted to add that in. 🥰💚

This season wouldn’t be bad if the characters didn’t look like they were toddlers. The old transformations went from one girl to another, now they’re all at the same time. The old design of the girls got a little more mature as they got older which was nice. I think they made it more childish for the younger audience.

Definitely it's a decent season but the art style and whitewashing makes me upset.

The Cosmix song and transformation sequence lowkey SNAPS❤😘🦋💅, but the outfits and similar wing designs is what drags it down for me
The animation is so smooth and the girls have so much makeup now then ever, like kinda.. chibi 16 year olds and another version of sailor moon, but it's not that bad. They really made Flora and Aisha much lighter tho.. Doesn't look the same. Wonder what made them want to do a whole other reboot.
True. honestly at this point instead of trying to make attempts at endlessly rebooting the franchise every 2 seasons. it would be much better to just STOP trying.
I just noticed they made the Enchantix transformation a lot for modest, covering their stomachs.
I kind of wish they did redid believix cause that transforming was also really iconic imo

Ikr but I still preferred the original especially in 3-D and 2-D it threw me off but I still liked it

To be honest its not horrible but not as good as the original. And there was just something about the original art style that hit different. It didn't feel like I was watching winx. It was like a sequel that didn't go as well as the original.

Winx season 8 wasnt all that bad I have to say the transformations were probably my favorite part well that and the fact that musa and riven got back together and before anyone says something the winx fandom confirmed they were back together also did you that can find all the winx seasons up to 6 on UA-cam

Yeah I know this..idk if you know but the creator said they were rebranding this season for little kids and that's why they look so young. He said they basically went back in age lol which is stupid but I guess business..

It's not that bad season 8 was descent but the only problem I had with it was the whitewashing of both flora, aisha and even stella she had a tan skin tone but now🤷.
Tbh I don't like the new echantix. I like the old costume including sirenix I just didn't like the clothing in season 8,I mean I like the crystal sirenix, cosmix and also something that's have to do with icy but the animations that they did for that season just wasn't good like the other season I wished they can just bring back the old animations.but I don't want them to get sued cuz I loved the series but I just think they might due to copyright of cosmix and it was given sailor moon vibes

@@fashionistadia Crystal gives the Winx a wintery and some Harmonix-like appearance. The reason why it exists in the first place is that in one of the season 8 episodes Tecna explains that their Sirenix forms were different because their powers were reacting to the cold environment they were in. Now if they were to use Enchantix or another type of form then that transformation would react to the environment they're in and their clothes would be in a mixture of seasonal outfits and transformation clothes just to keep them warm or comfortable.

@@fashionistadia so you don't think Crystal looks weird or anything? I thought the dresses were too much when I first saw it but over time I grew a liking to them, Winx Club inspired me to create my own stories and characters that I am currently writing at the moment

Very true. that's the one thing that bugs me as well. season 6-7 and 8 were all done by COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WRITERS. it really lost their consistency post season 5

Nickelodeon really destroyed Winx with seasons 5-7, it's just not it. Season 8 at least tried to fix many things, like finally giving us great transformation sequences, regular clothes that are not identical, they removed "Magic Winx xxxx" thing and them screaming "Fairy of xxxx"
Nickelodeon really did Winx dirty and destroyed it, but again Season 5 was still okayish when compared to Seasons 6 and 7, but Season 8 is easily the best qualitywise and the most similar to old Winx, since it was not created by Nickelodeon. It's still not as good as first 4 seasons, but definitely better than Nickelodeon tries

Season 8 really didn’t sit well with me like it’s not bad (except for the guys the guys just no) but it’s not good. Like all the other season still had the very recognizable winx look like those French sketch drawings. Season 8 doesn’t like fit cause they completely changed the style idk it just doesn’t sit well with me personally.

Only reason why I didn’t like season 8 because of it’s childish artstyle and they messed up the original transformations 😭, I just want the old style back and basically season 8 was like a reboot frfr
