Finding Faith: A Journey of Trust in Jesus Christ

Christopher A. Bauer joined the Office of the General Counsel at Brigham Young University in 2010 and-in addition to other assignments on BYU’s campus-is currently assigned as legal counsel to Ensign College. During his time at BYU, Chris has provided legal advice in the areas of regulatory compliance, government relations, real property transactions, employment law, international study programs, policy development, immigration, Title IX, litigation, and many others. One aspect of his job that he treasures most is the opportunity to work with the students, and he especially enjoys talking with those interested in the study of law.
Chris received a B.A. in philosophy summa cum laude from Brigham Young University in 2000 and a J.D. magna cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2003, where he was a lead articles editor of the BYU Law Review. Following law school, Chris worked as a litigation attorney at two separate large law firms in southern California.
Chris and his wife, Tami, have five children, one of them married, and live near the campus of BYU in Provo, Utah
