It feels like a bit of a work around to have to bank an image of the text- I'm not sure I'm organized to archive all these cuttings to add them back in to the google doc as an image. I am trying to fill out an application form and need to circle yes/no and add a signature. I am not sure if an image file in the middle of the form will work so well when I "return the form" to the sender. You have definitely answered my question as to whether it's possible- and yes it is able to annotate a bit with the popup draw tool. Thanks for walking through some very relevant scenarios for teaching/learning.
Keep in mind that this video is close to 3 years old. There are other tools and the such that makes AVID Cornell note taking much more advantageous online. I will have to do a follow up video in the near future.
8:25 it so hard process bro just use one note or evernot and they take a screen short and just copy the image and past darrectly in to google dox very easy bro
I wish I would’ve thought of Evernote when making this video. However, at the time everyone had easier access to Google Docs and I just wanted to show a way using it
Very helpful video! (If I can give you some constructive feedback, please say “actually” LESS frequently. If you watch your own video again, you’ll be floored by how often you say it.)

Thank you so much for this great no-nonsense tutorial
Thanks for taking the time to make this excellent video. It is exactly what I was looking for!
Thanks DeShaun
Excellent, thanks for this teaching! Very useful.
Thank you for your help!
what if I want the students to use the google draw function on the entire text?
Why doesn’t google just include some annotation tools in their classroom like kami?

Dooly noted!!! You should check me out now two years later, 😂
It’s absurd you can’t just draw on top of the editable document 😂cmon google 😂
I say the same thing about many Google products. Sheesh. Biggest tech platform ever with the suckiest features
yada yada actually actually
I know! 😂 I’m working on that. Every video release. Hopefully I improved in 3 years.
DeShaun. Good video, but suggest less use of the word Actually.
Already on it! A huge lesson I have since learned.
takes too long (to do markup)
This is just a method for Google Docs. Unless there is an extension made today for Google Docs I don’t know about, then this is what I knew.
