I recently lost my grandmother this year and every time when I listen to this song makes me cry. I just wanna be in god arms right now but I want to finish my school first. Don't give up, God has so much in store for you. Seek God with everything you got. Pray, read your word, and trust God and he will guide you. You are not alone, God is with you and just hold on to your good memories of your grandma.

Honestly, it’s been struggle to let go and letting God. The past has scarred me beyond my repair. Parents that never molded but scolded me with everything done. So it taught me to believe silence is golden and words better left unsaid to keep the peace. “Trouble don’t last always but trauma does the bump goes away but the bruise remains.” This message from Bishop Jakes says look at yourself as a overcomer and not as defeated. God has promised me so much more than what I can ever imagine. The only way out of trauma is to get back in somebody’s arms again. “It’s easy to trust God until He shows up in a person” it’s so many nuggets here my God my God Almighty! Send a reminder 🙌🏾

26:34 Amen. It be that part Bishop. Folk just don’t understand what role they play in the behaviors of others. I learned from observing my daughters that I should be a little gentle and softer in my dialogue and mannerisms. All six of them are on “go” but their reason is different from mine. I grew up in an area where you had to stand for something so you wouldn’t fall for anything. I took the approach with me, even after moving thousands of miles away from the environment. I left the place it never left me. I raised my children based on that , which it helped them in their lives however our experiences with this pattern and how we arrived at it were different. Watching this in reflection showed me, I need to course correct. It reminds me of the story about the family who as a tradition of always cutting the ends of the ham off each holiday before cooking it. One day, a granddaughter asked the grandmother why and she explains it started with her mother because the pan they cooked the meat in was too small, so the meat was adjusted to fit the pan, which just turned into a “tradition “. Glory to God🙌🏾. Whom the Son sets Free is Free InDeed🙌🏾
