The first time I went to Amsterdam back in 2018, I was staying with friends who were "anti-squatters" (forgot the exact term), i.e. people who basically stayed in empty apartments for a short time for really cheap and could also be asked by the landlord to leave at very short notice. Right before I arrived, they were staying at a refurbished prison so I had to help them move some stuff from the prison haha. And the first time I tried kapsalon was actually in Antwerp and my friends told me the story of how it started in Rotterdam haha

The ADEV is a demonstration for keeping the dance scene affordable and authentic. It is against the extreme commercialisation of the dance scene.
