Ce jour là j'étais dans un bus quelque part sur la planète, il y avait un soleil magnifique, des sourires sur tous les visages, je descends et passe devant les vitrines des magasins et je vois et écoute cette tristesse qui émane d'un poste de télévision, Elton John qui chante avec un énorme chagrin parsemé d'émotion et de tristesse, je ne peux retenir mes larmes, et ce souvenir me marquera à jamais.

I don't know how anyone can listen to this song and not end up in tears. Elton was the right man to sing this tribute to Diana. He really makes you feel the pain of her loss. You can feel his pain through his singing, as well. Such a terrible loss at that time, and still today.

Quando tornai a casa a mezzanotte, accesi la tv, non potevo credere a quella notizia, dopo una cosi bella giornata che però fu funesta, 16 giorni dopo se ne andò pure il mio di a quei tempi compagno, cosi all'improvviso. Non aveva ancora 50 anni....doveva compiere i 50 a novembre. Che tristezza, che nostalgia. RIP entrambi

I was in Glasgow when Princess Diana died and I found out this terrible piece of a news coming back to England 2 days later. I cryed all the time along the road reading the newspaper while my beloved husband was driving. It was not "general hystery" like someone said. With my collegues in Compton I cried during her funeral, broadcasted worldwide on TV. We were sincerely upset and moved. She was a marvellous and sensible person. I will love her forever even if she didn't know me. After her death I thought everything could happen and this was a shock for me. 25 years ago my husband and I were both 32. He unlackly died in 2011 for a GBM which is a letal brain cancer.

She led by example, grace and dignity right in the face of adversity.That is a quality few have today...any leaders in the world. The flower if compassion is crushed by human stupidity and greed. All that is left is a fading perfume. But the candle still burns. I will never forget. Breaks my heart that Western Society has become so rampant with qualities she would've avoided. She really cared. I wish for more like Princess Diana. God bless England, and God bless the United States of America. I hope WE can get back to her standard of grace and compassion.

I Just Turned 19 years old When Diana Died It was the Most Tragic Funeral I had To Witness on TV i Cried throughout the Entire Service Diana's Beauty and Grace Is never forgotten I see So much of it in Will and I'm Blessed that he's Found it in his Love of Catherine I Cried so Hard When Diana died It's so Weird almost 16 Years Later She's Always Remembered and Never Forgotten Diana Was a Wonderful Princess... I was 5 when I watched this live in America and of course at the time I didn't realize who she was. I just knew she was a princess of England.
