Great video, thought I’d try to do my own ranking, so here it is- 1) In Rainbows 2) Ok Computer 3) Kid A 4) The Bends 5) Moon Shaped Pool 6) Amnesiac 7) Hail To The Thief 8) King Of Limbs 9) Pablo Honey
I love all their albums even the first one taken in context is fine in fact I bought it when it first came out and while not an all-time great album I listened to it enough to get the CD scratched up pretty bad. I find it amazing how much differing opinions you get about their best album the only bands I find are that are in that ballpark are the Beatles, Floyd and Zepplin it really does show how strong their body of work is even their b-sides could make at least 2 great albums maybe even three.
Amnesiac is the most underrated, and overlooked Radiohead album. Like yes its not their best and the point of Amnesiac is to experience the point of view of the character described in Kid A. Amnesiac is an avant-garde abstract experimental statement. Although not their best definitely better than HTTT.
Am I the only person who likes Pablo Honey? Maybe it's nostalgia due to the fact that it was the first Radiohead album I ever listened to. Granted at the time they only had two records but that's neither here nor there.
I bought it when it was their only record but the rest of their albums really are much better even records that some people do not like that much like Hail To the Thief or Amnesiac are pretty great.
my stupid fucking list 1. amnesiac 2. ok computer 3. kid a 4. the king of limbs 5. moon shaped pool 6. hail to the thief 7. in rainbows 8. the bends 9. pablo honey (:oooooooooo shocker)
in rainbows just feels so easy compared to the rest of their discog its just like pretty straightforward indie rock to me that being said that doesnt mean its bad and i dont really dislike any song on it
my list: 1. In Rainbows 2. Kid A 3. A Moon Shaped Pool 4. OK Computer 5. The Bends 6. The King Of Limbs 7. Amnesiac 8. Hail To the Thief wait... did i forget one?...
1: OK Computer 2: Kid A 3: In Rainbows 4: A Moon Shaped Pool 5: The Bends 6: Amnesiac 7: Hail to the Thief 8: Pablo Honey 9: The King of Limbs. Maybe. Very difficult to choose a best to ‘worst’ of such a unique band!
liamthemusicreviewer same, I also think the Pablo Honey era gigs weren’t terrible, like some think. Like the Live at Astoria gig from 1994. They just hadn’t found their sound yet, it’s like they were trying to be grungey. They more then found their sound on The Bends though!
@@liamthemusicreviewer Watch the basement session of KOL and try and tell me its not great the studio version is somewhat overproduced but still has Codex, Lotus Flower actually the 2nd half of it is great and the first half rocks from the basement if you add the b-sides its still a great album.
My list if you care to see it. Great Vid. I commented a lot keep it up. 😁 1. OK Computer 2. Kid A 3. In Rainbows 4. Amnesiac 5. A Moon Shaped Pool 6. The Bends 7. HTTT 8. TKOL 9. Pablo Honey
Thanks for all the comments and support brer! I can see why mostly everyone would have Pablo Honey last but I'd much rather chuck that on over The King of Limbs any day of the week. Amnesiac is absolutely underrated, it's really during the top 6 when it was all to play for and my long delayed "click" moment with HTTF is what overrided it for me. Nothing about your list strikes me as "too" offensive so you get away with it this time - THIS time 😉
@@liamthemusicreviewer Well, maybe I should just make my own video, instead of spending my days complaining about how others have ranked Radiohead's albums, lol. But yea, Hail to the Thief and OK Computer need be in the top 3 in some way, according to my personal opinion. Which 2 would I take out? A Moon Shaped Pool and.....shit.
Zachary Hernandez they’re pretty much what Fitter Happier is to Ok Computer - sure they might not be as strong as songs themselves but in the context of the album they only go to strengthen the overall feeling.
TKOL worse than Pablo Honey? idk man you gotta at least concede that the songwriting, production and lyricism is better on TKOL than on Pablo Honey, even if the sound of the album isn't to your taste. Not hating on Pablo honey tho, Stop Whispering is honestly a jam.
This was one of the earliest videos I did and nowadays I would definitely have emphasised that I respect and admire the ambition of KOL and can agree it tries far more than PH. Mainly comes down to the execution but there’s not much between these two for me, even 3 years on
@@liamthemusicreviewer You got a cool channel mate. Saw deep cuts did that recent vid with you and now I'm here. I'm just glad there are more cool music channels cropping up/I'm being made aware of their existence. Keeping being you and keep bein cool. :)
Zachary Hernandez each to their own my man! It was revolutionary for its time but like I mentioned, other bands have attempted and succeeded at doing what it did in other interesting ways, still a great album.
1. In Rainbows 2. Kid A 3. OK Computer 4. Amnesiac 5. Hail To The Theif 6. The Bends 7. Moon Shaped Pool 8. Pablo Honey 9. The King of Limbs Mainly got to have In Rainbows up top cause it has my top 3 Radiohead songs; Bodysnatchers, 15 Step and Banger + Mash (even if it isn't off the main album).
Ah shame A Moon Shaped Pool ain't as big on you (or maybe it's like what The Bends is to me: good but just not as good), In Rainbows at #1 is a choice I can totally respect.
I do love King Of Limbs, but personally I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's better than Kid A. Saying that, I think I've had more of an incentive to return to TKOL than I have with Kid A
Great video, thought I’d try to do my own ranking, so here it is-

4) The Bends

@@liamthemusicreviewer it’s shockingly underrated
I hate ranking Radiohead albums but I think Pablo Honey is worse than TKOL. The only discog harder to rank is Kanye's

I get the feeling I'd be in a similar position if I grew up with PH!
I bought it when it was their only record but the rest of their albums really are much better even records that some people do not like that much like Hail To the Thief or Amnesiac are pretty great.
Am I the only one who thinks TKOL is amongst Radiohead's best albums? It's short, thats my only complaint.
In Rainbows is perfect... Weird Fishes is one of my favorite songs of all time and the album front to back, is brilliant.

If you don't like TKOL you have not listened to it enough. Codex and separator do exactly what you said no songs in the album do.
I think that if he gave the basement version a try he would change his tune pretty fast.
