That is not what the door is for … the more you close it the finer the mulch . If you run it open you will be a lot more productive but have bigger pieces of wood .

Don't take offense but I've seen a disc come off a machine and go flying over 800 meters and go right through the side of an F150. KEEP BACK 500FT. The message is more directed toward those unfamiliar with equipment like this
