I’m surprised how modern the logo was that it didn’t need changes. Like, if you saw the logo, you would assume it’s from 2009, not 1979.
Amc logo animation
correction 1994 because the "c"
Needless to say AMC never wanted to change logos.
Not since 1979
Regal’s famous “roller coaster” policy trailer was used from 1993 to 2004 and again from 2010 to present, and has changed overtime. And Cinemark also had a cool mascot back in the day. AMC is just AMC.
@@nickwerner7983 true
@@joezegers They still use their mascot. But never on screen anymore.
@@nickwerner7983 The "C" was rounded off in late 1991.
I'll never stop going to the movies for as long as I live. It's personally one of the most enjoyable experiences!
🥳✨🥳✨🥳✨
12:42 the logos I first saw in the theater
That 10th logo brought back so much nostalgia
8:36 this is during the year that American cinema is blowing out 100 candles
The best part is when the theme from Dragonheart kicks in
AMC now has new Pre-show trailers, inspired by the AMC Commercial with Nicole Kidman
I used to go to Regal near my house, I now permanently go to AMC 30 Dine-In at Ontario Mills.
Danm this 2020 intro makes my memories back
Thank you for this! I've been looking for the nostalgic one with Rocky in it!
The first logo I saw was the one where three people where inside a AMC theater and all of a sudden, the inside and the seats they were sitting on turned into a forest, and then the AMC logo is seen in the clouds.
you mean the 2009 one?
Yes, but I just wanted to call it as the recap.
Yes, and I remembered seeing it when I went to see Disney Planes when it came out around its release date.
21:49 this gives me marvel Vibes when I always go to the movie theater in here this
Happy 100th year’s anniversary.
12:46 I only remember seeing this amc logo from 2013.
Inside Out, The good dinosaurs and minions
I remembered seeing The Princess Diaries (2001) at an AMC theater in Houston, TX (AMC Studio 30) while enjoying my Coca-Cola (and falling for some girl who is 2 seats down) which contains logo #9 (1996-2002)
Happy 22nd Anniversary, The Princess Diaries (2001-2023)
Happy 100th Anniversary, Walt Disney Pictures (1923-2023)
Happy 104th Anniversary, AMC Theaters (1920-2023)
The newest AMC theaters policy trailer contains Princess Amelia “Mia” Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway) asking her friends and family to silence their cell phones
I really miss going to the movies 😩
Yeah, because of COVID-19
Well, not anymore! Since this year, I finally got a chance to return for going back to the movies!

You really like the soda freestyle machine I saw that firehouse I go there lunch a lot in 2014 and I love it.
@@dianecaplan5407 I’m preying for Ukraine
I went to an AMC theatre to see The Princess Diaries (2001) which is a cutesy girl movie with Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway (as Princess Amelia "Mia" Thermopolis) in Houston, TX way back because I am definitely girl crazy, drinking a medium sized Coca-Cola (my #1 soda), while with my mom
Happy 10th Anniversary, The Princess Diaries (2001-2011)
AMC Theatres is currently planning to re-release The Princess Diaries in 4K with additional scenes that aren't in the original release (as an extended edition of the 2001 teen movie)
I miss going to the movies.
Same I can’t go I go the AMC in 2019 watch the movie frozen 2

From around 1989 to 1997, my family mainly saw first run movies at our local AMC at the time (we did occasionally go to United Artists Theatres too from 1991 to 2002). So I kinda remember some of these logos. The last movie that I have seen at any AMC theater so far is Cars 3 back in 2017 during a trip to Disneyland.
20:02 out of all the other promos. This one is probably one of the most what the heck type of things I ever seen on an AMC promo.
Watch till the end! *CONGRATS FOR 200 LOVES*
9th AMC logo is probably taken from Selena, Spirited Away, Anastasia, Mulan 1998, Recess: School's Out, The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, The Powerpuff Girls Movie, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Josie and the Pussycats, The Princess Diaries, South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut and Jurassic Park 3.
For the 2 locations I’ve been to AMC Sunset Place 24, and AMC Tamiami 18, after it says enjoy the show it shows we come to this place
3:04 Sounds like a news theme!

1920-2021 AMC 101 anniversary
I wished AMC Theatres would be around in Australia (Which is my country).
There's Hoyts and Village Cinemas
Actually, the 3rd logo was from May 1980-1983
Back when this video was uploaded, the CLG Wiki labeled it as being used from the date seen in this old video.
I Did Go To AMC Theaters Watching The Logos Watches The Adrian Show
Last Night.
I went there on a school filed trip when I was in 5th grade to see one but we didn’t have lunch there because have to bring our lunch boxes after we are done watching it.
22:35 that man got gasped and his popcorn got spilled it’s a good he didn’t dropped it.
This is awesome!
I Didn't Know AMC was born on 1920s!
But the logos weren’t found yet
I Like Educational Television Logo History!
Me too!
22:40 this moment will never get old. Especially the music. It's amazing. But yes. The 100 year in is getting very old. The music... never.
Cool!
Awesome!
9:00 Does anyone know what the name of that music is? I've heard in many early 2000s trailers and I've been trying to figure out what is it since forever.
It’s “To the Stars” from the Dragonheart soundtrack by Randy Edelman.
@@iflookscouldkeehl I heard it during the Universal Studios Hollywood tour on the tram
The 9th Logo is taken before Digimon the Movie
Boy. And I thought Activision had the longest time they kept the logo the same. Maybe they’re tied?
i dont think a video game company was founded in the 1920's lmao
@@evannovotny Meaning both the companies had the same logo since 1979.
@@nickwerner7983 thats not how it works though if one has been a thing longer than the other and both have never changed their logo they literally cant be tied
@@evannovotny AMC only got the current logo in 1979… the same time that Activision got their logo…
Nice
Thanks

You were originally going to do AMC Theaters for episode 99?
the 2013-2017 ones were so bad, and I don't think you included the worst one with the dumb bear eating the cell phone.
I love Nicole Kidman but I miss Clip, he was the best!!! Maybe Clip and Nicole should make and appearance together!

Now that Regal Cinemas is closing down all 39 movie theaters nationwide during the month of February, is AMC will be next to close down? No word on what AMC theaters are closing. Now we have streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, Tubi, Amazon Prime, MGM+ (which debuted recently) and more which are replacing movie theaters since no one wants to go to the movies anymore.
