- This video is a synergy teaser for the upcoming 7th "Tarnished character" of the "Epiphany" mod for The Binding of Isaac Repentance! Tarnished Samson will release on July 31st and I'd like to show you a few selected synergies of this bloodthirsty killing machine before you can play him yourself! The video contains Godhead, Brimstone, Mom's Knife, Epic Fetus, Kidney Stone, Trisagion, Terra, Technology Zero and Tech X, enjoy!

Part of me wishes that one day the Epiphany team will look at some vanilla items like Mom's Knife, Spirit Sword and make more creative synergies for them in like a separate mod or something. They do *so* good with the synergies for their characters.
unfortunately, knife and spirit sword arent exposed in the api all that well so making new synergies for those becomes a pain rather quickly

Apologies for the delay 😢 a lot of things happened, we worked on a lot of content and added enough stuff to the patch notes to barely reach Steam's max character count.

Tarnished Samson was amazing! The epiphany developers are doing a great job so far
I don't know what's cooler. The fact team Epiphany is making this and it works or the fact the game can handle it!

I love how Samson smashes the floor to get ceiling parts. It's a great reference to his story
@@trafficcone7448 in his history he was captured, shaved (his strenght comes from lenght of his hair) and chained to two colums in a basement of some building. (T. Samson unlock card also references this) He was kept there so long that his hair grew back and he brok those colums collapsing the whole building

Kidney stone turns Samson into a fucking Jojo stand and I love it
Tarnished Samson has been out for a week now and I've been having a really fun time playing as this character! The thought of punching my enemies and that every range up is like if Samson's arms grew longer to punch things from a further distance made me grow a bond with him immediately.

Is there any "opposite" mod for the Tainted ones? Since Epiphany turns Tainted onto Tarnished, wouldn't it be great for a mod to give us "Cleansed" characters?

Just try this three items with any isaac-like character: brimstone, continuum, monstro's lung (WARNING: very laggy)
