😂 My kindle stays in airplane mode since I can never finish a loan in time! Also I’ll be adding Dear Mothman and Winnie Nash Is Not Your Sunshine to my tbr. I’ve been trying to pick up more middle grade and these both sound right up my alley!
Squire is so good! I would love it as a series. I recently read Dear Mothman and I really enjoyed it. A little young for me in tone but it was still overall fantastic. I haven't heard of A History of My Brief Body but thanks for the rec! I'm really interested. Because I loved In the Dream House.
Ooh yes! I'd love a sequel. I didn't realize a book i read in January was by the same author. It's titled "Confetti Realms" if you want to read more of her work and this is queer. I'm glad you enjoyed Dear Mothman and hope you like "A History of My Brief Body"!
I'm so glad you liked Dear Mothman! I've recently finished Rat Bohemia by Sarah Schulman, which was weird, messy lit fic set in NYC during this AIDS epidemic (it was published in 1995, so it was contemporary for the time). It's not for everyone I think but I got a lot out of it and am looking forward to her other novels
I'm so glad you loved Wild Rain! Ms. Bev is a queen!
As a fellow procrastinator I am enlightened by the airplane mode life hack 😂 thanks Alex!
🫡 happy to help a fellow procrastinator! It's such a great hack, tbh.

I loved ace of spades so much 🥹
It was so good, I still haven't stopped thinking about it!
