    I thought it was cringe to see the skit performed live. But damn, it's even cringier seeing it post edit... And I love it 🤣

    I still like and enjoy the fact that Alex introduced the three research category. It makes me admire his effort and desires to bring those priceless gems to us, even as beginners watching. Don't get me wrong Sean and others are great, but I think they a bit advanced with their messaging on this stream.

    Really good video! So much of it ties in nicely with the Sticky research Alex explains in more detail during the 5 hours Fundamentals of Copywriting. But also some new and interesting info, including listening in and literally asking the competition for their selling points.
    It’s also interesting that the amount of research should be proportional to the task in hand. I’m very drawn to research, it’s a process that I usually enjoy a lot; but if you’re getting paid a small fee for an email, it doesn’t make much sense to spend 3 days in research.
    Thanks for the video 😊

    This is a completely random tip, but what I have learned studying small amounts of photography/film is to help use "lines". So for instance, Luke, in my opinion, would be better off placing his head right where the corner of the room meets, above the drapes. Because his head is the focus point of his video the "lines" of the ceiling and the corner of the room would be pointing right to him. It helps make the video more pleasing to look at as well as gives Luke (or anyone) a sort of "visual authority" when you are in the center of the video. Again, I know its random and not copy related, but maybe it will help someone who is reading this.

    pressing a button that automatically lowers and raises your window instead of tediously rotating a crank mechanism seems way less trivial than you make it out.
    I mean, I dunno if you ever had to deal with those while driving but the automatic window definitely helps you stay focused on your phone. . . i mean . .. your driving.

      Yeah, the Shawty Index. Got that from a friend of mine. If you go to the club and all the Shawtys are talking about NFTs? You write a promo about NFTs.
      Shawtys talkin about rental real estate? You write a promo about rental real estate.
      Shawtys not talking, they just getting low? Write a bearish promo. Lmao

    I suppose automatic windows solve problem of being able to lower or raise or lower all the windows while driving or it allows the driver to lock out the controls in the backseat in case there's an unruly kid back there.

    • @CopyThat
      @CopyThat Рік тому +1

      It's not really my argument, but I suppose Neal Postman or someone following a Heideggerean path might counter with: "But are those really problems that needed solving? What was wrong with the previous system? Does the solution we invented prevent us from coming up with a more intelligent way to manage car windows, because now we can't imagine life without what we've been forced to accept?" And so on.

      In that case, does it need to be presented as a problem that the market needs to be made aware of? @@CopyThat

    Weird that you’d think automatic windows don’t solve a problem.

    • @CopyThat
      @CopyThat 9 місяців тому

      Just a paraphrase of Neal Postman's notion that we should be skeptical of technology marketed as solutions to manufactured problems. He talks specifically about the fake problem of automatic windows here: ua-cam.com/video/hlrv7DIHllE/v-deo.htmlsi=DwedssY7KUAO7oy-&t=1193
