Lovely stuff. First encountered this instrument back in the 1960s at the old Birmingham Traction Engine Rally outside the Museum of Science and Industry in Newhall Street.
Trying to find out more about my familys wonderland steam organ, owned by William Wallser, in the 1880's. If anyone has info would be greatful for any replies.
Nigel. That sound quality is just a little bit better than than you would get from even the very best camcorders, are you using an audio recorder and syncing it with your video ??. Very good video anyway and if i were in the toilet, i cant think of a better organ to entertain me. haha
graham spencer thanks LOL I use an old Nokia Lumia 1020 camera phone....sounds stupid but they were designed for recording concerts so I thought I'd give it a go. They're cheap enough second hand now and definitely worth a try
That's one hell of an overture, absolute treat to hear it on this organ.
It's one of my favourite overtures. Search for it on UA-cam played on the Mammoth Gavioli organ. Absolutely superb
@@Nigel_Gardiner Will do, thanks for the recommendation.

Didn't know Bill Hunt had sold the Wonderland. Last saw it at Stapleford in 2010 ( think it was ) Beautiful and mesmerising!

Wow, but all the camera phones have auto record level, this sounds like the levels have been pre set, can you adjust the record levels on the Lumia
graham spencer No need - the auto level corrects any peaks which are too high and copes with VERY high volumes.
'pat collins' wonderland ISTR....
what engine is driving the organ ?
Dennis Spinks Winston Churchill
