In 2009, UEFA launched a call for tenders with the aim of revitalizing its UEFA Cup competition. Yohann Zveig was selected among 22 candidates to compose the new official anthem of the Europa League. The track, titled Fantasy Football, was recorded with more than 60 musicians from the Paris Opera orchestra during the summer of 2009.
This song is truly a masterpiece. I remember i sometimes used to watch some random matches only to listen to this anthem! I hope UEFA one day will decide to put this song again as an anthem of one of their leagues.
