I like this phone but find talk g pictures a hassle...long gaps in taking a pic and even the quality of pic. I've checked setting and can't find anything that has helped me. Any suggestions?
Great video. Just got mine through StraighTalk. More impressed than I had expected! I chose it over the iPhones or the Samsung Galaxy 6 or 7. Well worth the money. Phone case and screen protectors were a hassle had to order online amazin but fingers crossed it all aligns perfectly.
Great video thanks. I discovered two more items by accident. From the locked screen double click the low volume button and the camera comes up. A nice feature if you want to take a fast photo. You do not have to unlock the phone to do so. Doing the same thing to the up volume button from the locked screen brings up the quick memo notepad screen. I hope these help as they helped me.
Speaking of fast photo. What do you think about the quality of the video and photos? I am in school for Digital Media and my iPhone is growing dark on the screen, so I need to replace it with something affordable. My teacher does not like Pixelated photos.
PimeTechnology my question is can you customize the font? I haven't been able to find out online. Really considering getting this phone. Thanks in advance
You can also pull the top menu down (the thing where your notifications are and where wifi, bluetooth, etc. settings shortcuts are) and use Capture+ there. Best part? It doesn't register Capture+ as a screenshot, so you can use it on a Snapchat or a similar situation that notifies people of your screenshots, without them finding out about it!!!
If it's on an actual Snap (a picture or a vid, not texts) then you should swipe from the bottom up first, then top down, otherwise it'll leave the Snap, you're welcome people, have fun getting dirt on people without them knowing, but be careful, Snapchat may update any day and change it's parameters
@primetechnology Thank you for the great tips! I just got my LG stylo 3, 2 months ago and it is overheating! I used to have the LG stylo and this never happened- or with any of my phones. The back button gets very hot and there was a warning that came on my screen telling me to shut off my phone to prevent damage. I am wondering if you have experienced this at all, and what I could do about it!? Thank you!!!
+Pokemon Secret Gamer Hd That stinks!! I have not had that issue. I would try and reset it. Or it could be an app you're using. Look at your battery usage in settings and see if you can figure it out. Keep me updated! :)
PimeTechnology yeah it's awesome I honestly underestimated this phone but it's great the only con I did find is that the camera doesn't have good focus even with HDR
Thanks for the tips and tricks. Is there another way to move the apps? All the apps does not give me the option to move to the SD card which is causing a problem with not having enough storage.
+The Bates Agency ATL Yeah. Only certain apps are allowed to be transfered to the SD Card. With the Stylo 2 last year, no apps could be transfered to the SD Card. That was terrible. Unfortunately, only the ones that show can be transferred.
Thanks, I might need to take my phone back because I have not begun downloading all my stuff and I am having storage issue. My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and I had no issue with storage. It had 32GB internal storage. Thanks again for the response.
I know! Just got this phone funding out 16th is useless! Can't remove facebook or messenger . I don't use messenger but no option to remove unwanted apps so they use internal storage. I'm not happy going exchange it most likely.good luck hope the stylus doesn't break like some said.

+Yanna Patrick It will actually let you edit the icon if you long press on the icon. Otherwise, you’ll have to get a new messaging app if you want new features.
I got this phone a month ago after having lg g3 and there are lots of benefits on stylo 3 but still G3 resolution was way much better than stylo 3 tho I love this one. Great video by the way!!!!

You cans always download an app that contains the iphone emojis. At first, it'll seem like you still have android emojis but everyone else sees the original emojis when you type it out. Should be the first app in the playstore when typing in iphone emojis.

I just got the Stylo3 to replace my Note 4 (which is becoming useless with the notorious battery dying,reboot loop, awful!). I'm a baby boomer, not very tech at all but ran into your tips, nervously followed your tips to speed up loading of videos, apps etc via developer options. I have no idea what the "transitions"tavs are, but set all 3 to .5 and it seems to really work! I don't undwstand why, if you're choosing a lower number for transitions why that speeds it up? Still nervous about changing anything but so far so goid! Thanks so much!
As long as you follow exactly what I showed, you’ll be fine. Basically, setting the transitions to 0.5 speeds them up. Instead of them taking 1 sec, they’ll take half a second. It makes the experience much faster. I really appreciate your comment! If you ever need any more help, please let me know anytime!!! :)
Thanks Pime Tech the info is great. I have been an Lg fan for years and recently got the stylo 3 and when I try to connect to my wifi or any wifi it doesnt recognize 5g. I saw a video that explained going to advanced in the wifi settings and changing the frequency to 5g or automatic but I do not have a frequency option available. Is it possible to write a text when I'm messages or draw a pic with the stylus, when you turn the phone long ways? The iPhone 5s has that feature and I didn't know if this LG could do it
I've ALWAYS used an SD card to store apps. Most phones don't have enough storage space to download even a handful of apps. I always keep apps like FaceBook, UA-cam, Netflix, Prime, and games on my SD card along w/photos.
Hi, I have a Stylo 2 and I bought a SD card 16 gb an don't know how to transfer all my apps and pictures on it. I need to free up storage on my phone it's getting full. I love my phone! Thank you 😊
If you go into the gallery, select all the photos you want to transfer, and click the share button, it should let you transfer them to the SD card. Also, you can go into the "Files" app and also transfer them. Let me know if you need further help!

PimeTechnology well there is a great phone in another country way better than Samsung Galaxy S8 and ZTE BLADE ZMAX combined way better spec's and way cheaper than Samsung Galaxy S8. I won't talk about this phone because I want to be the only one to have it. Just a joke. Anyone can have it.
Actually they all the same because they all have 2GB ram which sucks I'm looking at international phones like from China with way more RAM in there phone question is will there phone work in the United States.
It's one tap then a long tap and it'll take the screenshot. If that doesn't work it means that you have to turn the feature on. To do that go to settings, once there go to general and then go to shortcut keys and make sure the feature is set ON.
Can you tell me about the tethering option on this phone and do you think they will do away with now that straight talk has had them on dack order for a long time now
Does anyone know of a waterproof case for the LG Stylo 3 ? I am wanting to purchase this phone but decided to look and make sure I could find a waterproof case first. My phones always seem to find a way to end up in my animals water buckets and horse water troughs. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy and keep it in a Lifeproof case which has saved it many times. I can't seem to find a Lifeproof for the LG Stylo 3, or any other waterproof or even resistant case....

I would reccomend this. I had a bad experience with my p9 lite (2016, the old one, idk about the new one) and now I'm trying to mostly stay away from it. Also the stylus is very cool on this one!
I have this phone for about 6+ months. Part of me loves some of the features yet another part just HATES it. I play a game and I need like 20 clones. I have added a 64G memory card but everyday i have to delete something because i have no more memory. I have moved my game(s) to my memory card and have disabled all preloaded apps that i have no use for. Is there any way to make my external memory internal. I am willing to try most anything, please help :)
There is no possible way to make external memory internal. This phone isn't the best for people who are intense gamers, but it definitely does the job. You'd likely just have to upgrade to a phone with more storage.
Just got this phone last week and your video was very helpful so thank you. However, I have a problem and need your help! After three days, all of the settings in my apps are now reversed(like button in instagram & facebook are now on right side etc.). Is this something I unwittingly did and can I change it back because I've been searching and can't find out how.
Thank you for the reply. It's all buttons at the bottom and stories at the top of feed on instagram, all buttons and stories at top of facebook feed, and the send and attachment paper clip in text messages are reversed.
Hello there. I have the Stylo 3 with Straight Talk Wireless. Every time I try to send a video via text message, I get a message that the file is too big and needs to be reduced. I've tried reducing the size (megapixels) of the file, as well as the length (time) and it does not help at all. Videos are extremely pixelated. Also, I can only send one photo at a time. Do you know the reason this is happening? Can you provide a solution?
+Vrun-Cuh Sta It probably has to do with the capabilities on Straight Talk's side. They may have strict rules on how big file sizes can be, ECT. You could try downloading a different messaging app and see if that helps.
Do you know how to turn the volume and brightness slider bars in the notification drop down box I was messing with the settings and I'm not sure what I did to turn them off so I used to have the brightness slider and the volume slider and the drop-down notification but now they're missing can you tell me how to turn them back on thank you

You don't have the LG app? I change my icons and themes all the time through it
if you guys want better options for changing icons and other aesthetic settings I recommend the Nova Launcher. The free version works just fine
The stylo3 by Metro PCS has 32GB of storage and most Stylo3's hold upto a 2TB micro sd card.

Unfortunately the LG STYLO 3 only supports 2.4 GHz and not 5 GHz :/

It should be turned on by default. Go into keyboard settings under settings and there should be an option to turn it back on.

Stylo 3 is a better phone than Blade Zmax in my opinion.
Haven't tried the Blade ZMAX, but I really do like the LG Stylo 3... Waiting for the Stylo 4! Should be soon.

It's one tap then a long tap and it'll take the screenshot. If that doesn't work it means that you have to turn the feature on. To do that go to settings, once there go to general and then go to shortcut keys and make sure the feature is set ON.

Tethering depends on Carrier and phone model.

I can't believe my dumb friend went from Samsung S7 to this! That's more like downgrade than upgrade. He should have upgraded to Samsung Notebook 8.
How do you turb the vibration off? I have tried everything in the sound section of the settings
The way to do that is to put it in Do Not Disturb mode. When that’s on, it shouldn’t vibrate.

Does anyone know of a waterproof case for the LG Stylo 3 ? I am wanting to purchase this phone but decided to look and make sure I could find a waterproof case first. My phones always seem to find a way to end up in my animals water buckets and horse water troughs. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy and keep it in a Lifeproof case which has saved it many times. I can't seem to find a Lifeproof for the LG Stylo 3, or any other waterproof or even resistant case....
Damn. I haven't found one either. You could try ebay. I know they sell waterproof pouches.
Can this Stylo 3 do Wi Fi calling if I lose service?
I have seen a magnifier in the Pop Pen menu but it is not on mine or on yours in this video. Can this be added? If so, How?

ALL I ASK is please consider that every one viewing is not a techie. That whole developer thing required multiple viewings for me.
Lol, yeah. To us it’s like first nature. You can always slow the video down under settings on UA-cam if need be.

I would reccomend this. I had a bad experience with my p9 lite (2016, the old one, idk about the new one) and now I'm trying to mostly stay away from it. Also the stylus is very cool on this one!

I have this phone for about 6+ months. Part of me loves some of the features yet another part just HATES it. I play a game and I need like 20 clones. I have added a 64G memory card but everyday i have to delete something because i have no more memory. I have moved my game(s) to my memory card and have disabled all preloaded apps that i have no use for. Is there any way to make my external memory internal. I am willing to try most anything, please help :)
There is no possible way to make external memory internal. This phone isn't the best for people who are intense gamers, but it definitely does the job. You'd likely just have to upgrade to a phone with more storage.

Just got this phone last week and your video was very helpful so thank you. However, I have a problem and need your help! After three days, all of the settings in my apps are now reversed(like button in instagram & facebook are now on right side etc.). Is this something I unwittingly did and can I change it back because I've been searching and can't find out how.

Thank you for the reply. It's all buttons at the bottom and stories at the top of feed on instagram, all buttons and stories at top of facebook feed, and the send and attachment paper clip in text messages are reversed.

Hello there. I have the Stylo 3 with Straight Talk Wireless. Every time I try to send a video via text message, I get a message that the file is too big and needs to be reduced. I've tried reducing the size (megapixels) of the file, as well as the length (time) and it does not help at all. Videos are extremely pixelated. Also, I can only send one photo at a time.
Do you know the reason this is happening? Can you provide a solution?
+Vrun-Cuh Sta It probably has to do with the capabilities on Straight Talk's side. They may have strict rules on how big file sizes can be, ECT. You could try downloading a different messaging app and see if that helps.

Do you know how to turn the volume and brightness slider bars in the notification drop down box I was messing with the settings and I'm not sure what I did to turn them off so I used to have the brightness slider and the volume slider and the drop-down notification but now they're missing can you tell me how to turn them back on thank you
