I've been studying ukulele for 2 years now. You're new to me. I'm so grateful and blessed that so many fabulous teachers are right here at my convenience. You're pushing into my Top 3! I have a neighbor who says she wants to play. I've been sending her instruction videos for about a year. I sent her your recent video of the 4 basic chords. She ordered her 1st (giggle 🤭) ukulele yesterday. (🤭... because We Know there will be more).
Not sure if it was because of you. Just saying 😁
    ...... probably was!
    Thanks!🦋

I figured this out on my own recently, then I found this video confirming it. Using a metronome really helps. Slow it down, keep things moving and of course repetition. There's no problem with going as slow as you need to and then gradually speedup. This one thing I'm at the moment working on in a lesson book is a good one for this as I'm having trouble(getting better every day) doing the transition between two chords. Using the method you described is definitely a useful tool for use any time there is a problem like this. There's no race to the finish, so just focus on doing it it as proper as you can, then work on tempo.

Lol..love the crickets!! Hi sweet Katie! This is how I discovered the G11 chord, changing quickly from F to G7. F down stroke, G11 up stroke, G7 downstroke. It sounded good with the song I was playing and I found out it was a real chord. Just leave your index finger in place as a pivot point. I use it often now on purpose!

This is awesome!! I just jammed with a friend for the first time and I HAD to keep playing (because it's not like he was going to stop) so I just had to play open strings and it sounded just fine. Now all I have to do is make the habit (because that's soooo easy, right?)

So awesome! That’s the beautiful thing about an instrument that you can strum. You can keep the rhythm going even if the notes escape you. Keep up the awesome work!
