The Suikoden I & II HD Remastered: Gate Rune & Dunan Unification Wars got me waxing nostalgic about this amazing series and the awesome soundtracks again. I almost forgot how excellent the compositions were and still are but I remembered this was my favorite village theme for the original game. Miki Higashino is such an amazing composer. I have to wonder if live instruments were at least made use of, because damn, it sounds too high quality to be synthesized. Still holds up even after over 27 years. Can't wait to fall in love with Suikoden all over again and listen to this track once I get to the Warrior's Village.
Lol this reminds me about how I used to laugh at how clumsy and timid Hix was..... .....Only to find out HE was dealing out MORE raw damage than main character was!!! Hix was the business!!
