Hymn at the beginning (God Preserve Thy People). Grant salvation to Thy people, Lord, and we pray Thee bless thine inheritance, O God. A bit slow, however. This normally doesn't run over 15-or 16-minutes. ALSO, the musicians and chorus seem tired, bored, uninspired. Really too bad. Perhaps they rehearsed a bit too much. Normally this is one of my very favorite pieces.
The first part needs to be slow, yet I agree - from the boy's choir ("u vorot") up to when they get to the "Bozhe tsarya khrani" bit they should be IN FLAMES as they're winning a was against bloody Napoleon. Instead, they drag. Eighteen minutes for this piece sound as ludicrous as Lenny Bernstein's eight ones for Elgar's "Nimrod".
They are the same. However, at the beginning, the cellos do not play the choral parts, and when the children's choir sings, the wind instruments who usually play the melody generaaly do not play. Other than that, there are no differences of which I am aware.
Too slow and nice to see all the choir well turned out so well, but 3 boys let the choir down, the rest made great effort to wear either neck tie, black or white tie and the 3 just did not bother at all.
The choir at the beginning is deeply moving.
Without cannons, but one of the greatest versions presented of 1812.
there are cannons, represented by the bass drum

@@eduardomendonca8798tbh I feel like the cannons take away from the overture, and even Tchaikovsky felt that way.

In the original Russian?!? I have never heard it in the original Russian before! Beautiful!
Yes! And thank you!
@mordechai. It's actually in the original Church Slavonic.
I really like this rendition of the piece.

Magnífica versión gran coro
Thank you Igor Buketoff!
Beautifully executed!!!!! I love it!!
Established as a fine piece of work. Thank you god bless indeed 🙏
很少聽到以合唱方式的演奏,濃濃的沙皇時代氣息!
The choral always brings be to tears. The Russians army praying as Napolean advanced upon them.

合唱団が一緒の1812年序曲のライブ映像はなかなか見られないので、とても素晴らしいと思います。
17:29 Wait...here comes the crescendo !!!!
Where are the strong Baritone/Bass voices in the beginning? Sounds kind of incomplete without that deep undertone.

The flat at 1:31 is spot on.

This is not Igor Buketoff's arrangement as the description claims. There are some very noticeable differences and this version is worse overall.

I agree. I had great hopes for this, having only recently discovered the choral version, but I found this version too mechanical and lacking passion.
@@chrisnabavi1490 Try the choral version by Andrew Litton, it is amazing!!!

I’m trying to find the orchestra parts to Buketoff’s edition. Does anyone know where to find them?
