I’ll never forget when we played the bengals in the playoffs a few years back and it was Henry’s first game back after injury. They predictably locked him down but every time Foreman was in there he would run for 10 or more on every touch. The Bengals knew since he was coming back he would get the ball practically everytime he was in the game. As a fan it was tough to see what the problem was and the coaches were too stubborn to adjust their own game plan for this when they saw it not working. The change this season will be something we’ve never experienced

I agree, that game was rough... I swear, i told my nephew at the beginning of the game I was worried Henry wasn't ready, and I hoped we didn't lean on a hurt Henry .... And that's exactly what happened. And a big reason why we lost

So here’s my take, this comes from the OL vs WR debate where Jack was hell bent on the WR over the OL. When hit with the facts of the sacks vs the last 1000 yard receiver he was still siding with the WR. And in a passing league where the running game is a second thought, if your QB can not get the ball out to said receivers your money is wasted plain and simple it’s not hard to see why the fan base is the least worried about the RB cuz we have seen it for the last how ever many years and it does not work and many people are tired of hearing about it and want something new but there is one thing no matter what side of the “running vs passing” debate and it’s that the game is won and lost in the trenches and is something this franchise has neglected for the better part of 2 years now and I’m tired of it, so hearing homer takes about the WR you can’t even keep your QB up to get the ball out to is throwing all common sense out the window. Imo
