A real role model and proof that we can rise above our circumstances if we choose to. I grew up poor, but never knew it until I was in high school. Why? My folks loved the Lord, and worked hard to provide our family with hope, love, respect for authority and others. Not that I never went down the liberal path, or did some stupid things, but God taught me at a relatively young age when i saw someone less fortunate, "but for the grace of God, there go I." How can I make a difference in their life?

I love listening to Dr Carson. He has such kind eyes and soothing voice. And of course he is intelligent and wise. I am also in awe of his energy. Does he sleep LOL he does so much work everyday. Thanks Dr Carson for taking time out of your day to talk to us!

I did 4 measly weeks of surgery clerkship during my training. It was HORRIBLY exhausting!😮💨😷🔪🫀Dr.Ben Carson truly had, "gifted hands". I was honored to meet him many years ago. It changed my life.
Here I am about to take my 3 yr old daughter to church for the first time and I feel I need motivation to go. I’m asking God to give me a sign that I need to do this, that I need to share God with my daughter and put Him in her life. I’m getting ready and I see this interview, I turn it on and wow, here’s my sign. God is so important in so many peoples lives. We need God more than ever. ❤️

What an inspiration Dr. Carson is. I love listening to his soft voice and his wisdom. He is exactly who God meant for him to be.
This man's perspective on people, the human condition, and on true love and real compassion for ALL people is truly inspirational. He is a modern living example of what it means to be truly Christian. I love this American hero. He has so much to say but to hear it you have to stop and listen to every word to really hear all the wisdom coming out of his mind and heart. May the Lord bless you Ben.

Ben Carson did surgery on my neighbors son 22 yrs ago, I’ve read his book. I’m a fan since then. He’s too good for politics!
This was the story of a True "The American Dream" come to life. I could really FEEL Dr. Carson's heart, and his honest sincerity of a call to action, in wanting to serve the people and make things better for them, then they once were.
What I LOVED, was when Candace asked the good Dr. what he would do the night before, when planning for surgery. His response told me Everything about his character. He gave it to God, verses having a "God Complex", as too many surgeon's do. How Wonderful, how Refreshing!
I always admired him for his incredible skill set. Now, I also very much admire him for not only his strength of character, but for his humility, and reliance on "A power greater than himself" for counsel & direction in all Important matters in his life. He is a true gentleman & deep thinker. He definitely made a permanent impression on me.

I love and missed this man, Dr. Ben Carson. He has such an amazing story to tell for anyone willing to listen. Plus, I grew up in East Detroit, as it was called back then, right around the block from where I think Ben grew up. A mother's love is powerful. Think about where he would be with a father alongside his loving Mom. The family is the most powerful force, right after God.

With Ben, I see him as I would any individual because he speaks the same LANGUAGE I speak and understand. IT'S COMMON SENCE! I was actually going to vote for him through the primary debates. "Gifted Hands" was one of my favorite books ever, and was one of the inspirations for me to pursue medicine. It's amazing how the left demonizes Ben for being a conservative, and for standing up for Christian traditional values, hard work, self reliance, and freedom. God bless you, Candace and Ben! This seems to be such a better position for Dr. Carson, as HUD director rather than surgeon general. His motives are so much more effective and he applies his Christian principles to his achievements. His accomplishments using his great wisdom are priceless. God bless him.

Such a gentle compassionate but yet firm grounded person, Dr Ben Carson, i have a great admiration and respect for this man.
A few years ago I attended a university graduation in Houston, when Dr. Carson was the guest speaker. I honestly believe this man is one of the greatest men I have ever heard speak. So happy to see him in Candice's show.

That's why Trump, Carson and others like them are hated by the left: they're not politicians. As Nikita Khrushchev said, politicians build bridged where there are no rivers. This group is getting results, and that is upsetting many an apple cart.

I think for him to be successful, he would have to hire advisors who were vicious and motivated in the same direction as him. He knows what to do, and what he wants, just not as pointed as he needs to be to get through to the public and the other politicians. Fingers crossed.
