(edit: the failed attempts are very valuable information, i wish more martial arts channels were so in depth )

watching some videos about his style, it seems like he uses a lot of traditional martial arts defensive techniques...very active guard that borderlines on trapping skills at some points...

Which hook is better throw palm facing down or palm facing you
Palm facing down allows you to hook with longer reach but hooking palm facing your face is more power.
