After two memorable 24-hour races at the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium’s EWC round will be reduced to eight hours in 2024. The 8 Hours of Spa Motos is scheduled to take place from 6-8 June. The event will kick off with testing on Thursday, followed by free practice and qualifying on Friday, culminating in the eight-hour race on Saturday, which is set to run from 13h00 to 21h00 CET. Despite the change in race duration, the demanding 6.985-kilometre track layout remains unchanged.
Spa, renowned for its challenging corners like Eau Rouge and Raidillon, and its significant elevation changes, has been specifically modified to meet the requirements of EWC racing, ensuring it remains one of the most thrilling and challenging tracks in the world.
